Hi all, I've tried the new cross referencing test files. It stops working if one puts the component files in a separate subfolder (example attached). Is it possible to adapt the given mechanism to work with a components-in-subfolder-structure? margin notes from inside combination

It seems that margin notes when called from inside \startcombination..\stopcombination do not reach the margin of the paper. Instead they use a margin inside the combination. Is that as intended or unavoidable? It was my objective to have them at the edge of the paper. transparent text in \framed

Hi, I found a problem with transparency in \framed. If the foreground color is transparent, the attribute is active all the time. Same is true if you use a transparent foreground color in the content. Small test file is attached. Tested with beta from 2011.10.05 23:53, LuaTeX, Version beta-0.70.1-2011051907 (rev 4277). Automatically add \stopXX when a new \startXX of same type occurs

Hi, I am using the \startsection (\startparagraph ...) to structure my document and export it to XML. But for all the environments, for each \startsection I have to put a \stopsection even if I start a new section right after. Is it be possible to automatically stop the previous section when a new one is started in the XML output? Thanks Charles

Counter for section heads

I want to obtain the total number of sections at a particular depth, and thought that I could get that using \laststructurecounter{....}. But, I cannot find the name of the counter associated with sections. Is there a macro or a lua function that returns the name of a counter for the current section (that can then be used by \laststructurecounter)? Is there any other way to find the number of sections at the current depth. For example, this document ~~~ \section {one} \subsection{1} \subsection{2} \subsection{3} ~~~ has one section at depth 1 and three sectons at depth 2. Aditya

Inits without space in bibliography

Hi, I would like (the journal actually) to remove the spaces between initials (C.E. instead of C. E.). in the bibliography. It seems initials are created during the .bib to .bbl conversion but I haven't find anything in the .bst style file. Can you please help ? Thanks Charles

My original code is a bit more complicated, it often (but not always) involves artist, tempo and tonality data, like this \define[1]\artist{{\itx #1}} \define[1]\bpm{{\tfx #1 bpm}}} ... \item Sway \artist{Pussycat Dolls} \bpm{136-138} \item Fly me to the moon \key{Em} \artist{Julie London} \item Hit the road jack \key{Am} \artist{Ray Charles} \bpm{94} ... new beta

Hi, I uploaded a new beta. Apart from some fixes the following has been added/changed. Some are side effects of discussions at the context meeting. - Default sorting now mixes upper and lowercase. - Some presentation styles had problems loading due to changes in the structure commands. - A few improvements to the (mixed) scite lexers / spell checkers (plus an experimental pdf lexer). - Export of some math scripts (ssty related) .. an other buglet mojca and I noticed has to wait for a luatex engine fix. - An extra alignment option 'last' to center the last line. - Missing references are now listed in the log file. - Segments can be specified as n:* (as n:100 looks somewhat weird). - Virtual math has been adapted to the latest insights in open type math. However, the biggest new thing is adapted cross document referencing. This was already possible but we could not yet load external references (as in mkii). See http://www.pragma-ade.com/general/magazines/mag-1103.pdf for how it works in mkiv. The test files cross-*.tex demonstrate a couple of things. If one uses the project structure, then one can process a component of a product and it will pick up references from the main product as well as (given normal circumstances) start at the right chapter number and page. Of course this is only a convenience option (for proofing) as there is a dependency on the state of the parent product. Given the fact that cross referencing data is spread over several data structures this was a somewhat complex exercise. As a side effect the tuc file now uses its own (temporary) namespace. Hopefully nothing breaks due to these changes. Hans ps.
