table of contents

Hello, There must be two tables of contents in my document, one in a native language and the other in english. In LaTeX I made new commands \enchapter, \ensection, etc., which I use just after the \chapter or \section command. How do I make such commands in ConTeXt, so that these commands just insert a line into the english table of contents, but do not insert chapter or section in the current page? Thanks, Marius

Referencing a Figure

I am trying to reference a figure, and the results are not as expected. Here is my snippet. \placefigure[fig:myfigure]{A beautiful circle}{ \startMPcode draw fullcircle scaled 72; \stopMPcode } Isn't Figure \in[fig:myfigure] beautiful? When this code renders, the text says "Isn't Figure ?? beautiful?" How can I get the correct figure number? Thanks, Troy

A-ha! The solution that file name should be wingding.ttf versus wingdings.ttf. OSFONTDIR is ok, my installer sets it properly :) Thanks for help. works perfectly. I only cannot understand what the following do: \def\Check% {{\tfa\symbol[box]}} > Apparently the font is not found. So make sure that TeX can find the font. Probably you need to check whether the OSFONTDIR is set correctly. Hi, Thanks, Willi, for the idea, but I cannot get it to work. requesting multipass

Hi all, how do I trigger another pass? Using md5 and io I want to save data to a helper file and reuse it in a second pass (like e.g. mtx-context.lua) or update the file if appropriate. But I couldn't quite figure out how to request another pass from the lua end. bibliography overprinting and out of order

Some short questions

Hi, I'm looking for two specific "tricks": First, declaring one (and only one) page as empty. I mean with no footer/header texts. This is for my cover page, and some page left intentionnaly blank. Second, I want to change the layout (margin, textwidth, etc) of a page. I know there is a "clean" way to declare a new layout for a specific page but I can't find my source again. Why page is breaking after combined itemize list?

Hi, all. I want make enumeration list as per: 1. a) b) 2. a) b) etc. When I use: \startitemize[n,columns] \item \startitemize[a][stopper=)] \item Pravděpodobnost \item Logaritmická funkce a~její vlastnosti \stopitemize \item \startitemize[a][stopper=)] \item Rovina a~přímka v~analytické geometrii \item Exponenciální rovnice a~nerovnice \stopitemize etc..... \item \startitemize[a][stopper=)] \item Komplexní čísla v~algebraickém tvaru a~operace s~nimi \item Řezy těles \stopitemize \stopitemize %%---------------------------------------- And here is a regular text after the list .... : then page page is breaking afer \stopitemize command (and regular text is on next page) although bottom on page with list is enough place. My pagesetup is : \enableregime[utf-8] \mainlanguage[cz] \setuppagenumbering[state=stop] \setuplayout[width=middle, topspace=1cm, header=0mm, footer=0mm] Where is a problem? Thankx Jaroslav

How to use musical symbols from a font

Hi, I want to use musical symbols (e.g. rest) in my documents. I have MusicalSymbols.ttf font, and know that the rest is, say "r" symbol. How to make a macro that will place this symbol and possibly crop it? -- Best Regards, Vyatcheslav Yatskovsky

Float placement in margin

Dear all, I would like to put a figure my edge margin, at the bottom of the page. (so, the bottom left corner on my left pages). I tried \inmargin but the figure is not placed in margin but at the top of the page. I tried \placefigure[margin] but it is placed on the top of the margin. This is nearly what I want :) Any clue for me ? Thanks in advance, Antoine
