Serious bug?

I just installed ConTeXtMinimal using first-setup.bat. But it seems it has some serious bug that context even couldn't deal with such a easy document: \starttext Hello world! \stoptext What's the problem? Anybody can help me? Thanks. Fengnan Gao fnsteed(a)hotmail.com

Minimal installation help on windows

Hi, Two months ago I was able to install context minimal on windows XP and Ubuntu but now I can not do that. Using dsrom with MKIV

Hi, The dsrom math font only works partially with MKIV, and I do not understand what is happening. \input behaves different

MKii and MKiv differ in their behaviour of \input with respect to the .tex suffix. Consider the following program: \starttext reading file1.tex: \input file1\par reading file1a: \input file1a\par \stoptext Processing with mkii reads both files, but mkiv chokes on the second \input: ! I can't find file `file1a'. <to be read again> \par l.3 reading file1a: \input file1a\par This seems a very nasty difference to me, because it will necessitate me to rename a great many files. PDF Attachments

Answering to a question on TeX-D-L I reckognized that "\attachment" and friends are only mentioned at http://wiki.contextgarden.net/Verbatim_text#Embedding_the_source_code It's not in texshow and I couldn't find any documentation, also. It's defined in http://source.contextgarden.net/tex/context/base/core-int.tex and didn't get any source comments, too. Greetlings from Lake Constance! Does ConTeXt really support russian language?

I have spend three days trying to make ConTeXt show Cyrillic letters with zero success. I have tried to follow http://wiki.contextgarden.net/Russian precisely still I see only latin transliteration instead of Cyrillic letters. The funny thing that http://wiki.contextgarden.net/Vietnamese gives absolutely different set of commands for internationalization. I have tried them as well with no luck. I have tried about 10 variants that I have found on wiki.contextgarden.net and ntg-context(a)ntg.nl maillist NONE of them produce russian letters just latin transliteration and empty text. I have tried so far: Fresh install of TeX Live 2008 on Windows XP Fresh install of TeTeX 3 on FreeBSD 7 Fresh install of Latest Context Minimals on FreeBSD 7 (installed on 22-12-2008) LaTeX, from the same installations of TeXlive 2008 and teTeX, works out box, just as simple as: \usepackage[utf8]{inputenc} \usepackage[T2A]{fontenc} Does any can give me a working example of cyrillic text in conTeXt?

FunnyFrame in an enumeration.

Hi, Playing with metafun, I saw the FunnyFrame example (page 239 MetaFun screen manual), where a framed is put around some paragraph and this frame has a small framed title inserted at the top of the framed paragraph. I would like to do a similar output but in the context of an enumeration. I am able to obtain the main frame by a proper definition of the \definenumeration, but not the title !
