Hallo! The following: ------- \definepapersize [RM] [width=170mm,height=240mm] \setuppapersize [RM] [A4] \setuplayout [marking=on, location=middle] \starttext Bla \stoptext ------- results in 163mm width and 230mm height. What is wrong here? A second observation: file 'rm.tex' with \startenvironment rm ... \stopenvironment is not found in 'test.tex' with \environment rm ... renaming to 'whatever' helps Wolfgang

Optional Arguments for cite

Hi Taco, Latex provides an optional argument for \cite. For example, if I want to refer to something on page 4 of a paper, I can say.... see \cite[page~4]{key}. This is typeset as [3, page 4] where 3 is the reference number. How can I do something like this with the bib module. Note that I can not use the page key from the bib file, as the page key stores the page numbers of the paper. I want to cite a specific page (or theorem or ....) of the paper. showelements in x-contml documentatation

When I try to process contml module's documentation, the system seems to go in an infinite loop. No error is produced, but the process takes 100% memory and does not produce anything for a loong time. If I comment all the strings containing \showelements and \showXDScomponent, documentation is produced. I do not know why this happens. Aditya

Thanks for the suggestion. But it's after using \vfill that I decided to write to the list. Hi, I'd like to make the ruby version of texexec the default. Are there any strong objections to this? Also, i'd like the stubs to run texmfstart as launcher. Metapost: point along path and metaobj

Hi, Something goes wrong while using metaobj and point something along somepath. I do not know if point ... along... is a mp core command or something introduced by metafun. Hello, I saw the following nice feature in a book, which I also like to use for a longer work. The author uses a cite by author style (Sharma, 1979) and in the citation index: Nobody, N. B. and N. N. Nonomens, J. Improper Sci. 12, 199 (2007). 5 Nonomens, N. N., See Sharma, R. R; Nobody, N. B. Sharma R.R and N. N. Nonomens, Phys. Rev. B19, 2813 (1979). 320, 323, 330 where the last numbers are the pages on which one has cited the item. That way one automatically creates an index of persons, one cites. One could even link the page numbers to the referrering page. Tobias

Hi to all, Sorry if it's obvious. I'm preparing some slides and I'd like to have a figure in the middle of the slide. With \placefigure I place it center-justified horizontally. How can I force to be in the center of the text?
