Hi, I get this stange result: The second page (p.3-4) of each embedded file have the wrong offset, for the other pages (p. 6-\infty) they are ok. Any ideas? This is with pdfeTeXk, Version 3.14159-1.10b-2.1 (Web2C 7.4.5) (format=cont-en 2003.10.6 and the TeX code from below. bold math

Ahoj, On November 11 I asked the list how I could generate bold greek math symbols (I have the lucida family installed). Until now I didn't get a response, so maybe I should be more specific. Let me put it this way: On page 12 of the `Fonts in ConTeXt' manual I find the footnote: `Bold math is already prepared in the core modules, so normally one can do with less code.' Can anybody tell me what code I have to add and where? I would like to get the following line $\theta = {\bfmath \alpha' x}$ with \theta in normal math and \alpha and x in math boldface? Examples for letters, articles, books?

Please forgive me if this is a FAQ, but since I just subscribed and the archives aren't searchable, I thought I'd ask. I've been a casual LaTeX user for a couple of years, and now I'd like to give ConTeXt a try. The one thing I'm missing in the docs is a set of examples for common documents, such as letters, articles, books and so on. Could anyone please point me in the right direction? Thanks, -Ralph.

Problems with table and Division Line

Hi all, I just uploaded a new version of my bibliograhic module to http://tex.aanhet.net/bib/ New in this (update)release: Support for APS-style citations, DOI's, Oxford comma's and "et.al.". \combinepages with negative distance

Hi, I have a A5 document (as PDF file) which should be nx=2,ny=1 placed on a landscape A4 paper. The problem is that I want to have more whitespace on the left side for stapleing/punching which can easiest be done by letting the included pages overlap. I tried distance=-4cm but it didn't work as expected. Desired result: +---+-------------+------------+ | | first a5 . | second a5 | | | . | | | | . | | | | . | | +---+-------------+------------+ | ^^^ - included pages overlap | extra wide margin I tried: \setuppapersize[a5,landscape][a4,landscape] \combinepages[main.pdf][nx=2,ny=1,frame=on,distance=-4cm] Tobias

So, IS it actually possible to directly transform CSS into ConTeXt layout macros and let the XHTML untouched? I agree, that XHTML might be too complex, but with some pre-print tidy up complexity can be reduced very well. Unfortunately I've no idea yet what to do with all that scripting stuff in pages. Installing Garamond

I tried to install my newly purchased Adobe AGaramond following the example in Bill McCLain's _Beginner's Guide_. I keep getting warning messages like: Warning: pdfetex (file texnansi-raw-LT50567): Font texnansi-raw-LT50567 at 600 not found Warning: pdfetex (file texnansi-raw-LT50566): Font texnansi-raw-LT50566 at 600 not found </u/usr/TeX/texmf/fonts/type1/bluesky/cm/cmr6.pfb> Warning: pdfetex (file texnansi-raw-gdsc): Font texnansi-raw-gdsc at 600 not found the only change I made ot the fonts was to change the suffixes from AFM to afm and PFB to pfb (I run LInux.) then I ran texfont with the following statement: texfont.pl \ --fontroot=/u/usr/TeX/texmf-local \ --sourcepath=/tmp/fonts \ --vendor=adobe \ --collection=agaramond \ --makepath --install I put a reference to the generated map file in pdftex.cfg and linked that mapfile to the same directory as pdftex.map.
