Updated Nath/AmSL modules

Hello guys, for those among you who need to do math stuff, I updated the nath and amsl modules, fixing a couple of bugs (no new features yet). Let me know how they fare.

hi list, thanks for the hint with te_cont i was looking for *tex* so i never found anything. So, i have installed all missing packets and the sample works fine. Then i tried the first example from "typsetting flow charts". \setupFLOWcharts[...] \startFLOWchart[grid] \stopFLOWchart What is the mentioned "testmode" ? where i can see grid ? the second example is the definition of a cell but i am unable to create any output because: no legal \end found but where ? the examples contain no end (in the sense \begin{} \end{} ) Can i download the examples somewhere ? regards, walter

german hyphenation patterns

Hi out there, I'am not sure if this is a ConTeXt problem (I doubt it slightly) but I am a bit confused: How can I activate german hyphenation patterns? I have used \mainlanguage[de] in my document and it was OK some time ago. Meanwhile I have updated ConTeXt and my TeX (current texlive). Where should I start to check? The output of my context run is: [...] language : language en is active [...] bodyfont : 12pt rm is loaded language : patterns 2:2-en-2 loaded specials : fdf,tpd loaded Patrick -- You are your own rainbow!

references to external documents

Hi all! I'm working with huge XML documents which are compiled to PDF (with ConTeXt) and converted to HTML (with XSLT and others). These XML documents contain references to external files (images). References are mapped to paths with XML code; i.e. <imgref id="cow" src="./images/cow.png"/>. Translating such a map to ConTeXt is rather obvious. But how to implement simmilar mechanism for external XML documents? In example I would like to use command \useexternaldocument[intro][introduction.xml] and than process 'introduction.xml' on the base of is ID reference ('intro'). Is it possible? Does ConTeXt suport referencing documents as well as figures? Regards, Pawe/l

Hi list, i was impressed with the charts style and have installed comtext. i downloaded the cont-tmf.zip und installed into a (working) tetex. i did a texhash but i still cant find texexec. any hints want went wrong ? regards, walter

The latest version assumes the most recent pdftex, i'll fix this; if you run into troubles, add this to cont-new.tex: \ifx\pdfoptionpdfinclusionerrorlevel\undefined \newcount\pdfoptionpdfinclusionerrorlevel \fi \pdfoptionpdfinclusionerrorlevel=0 \ifx\pdfoptionpdfminorversion\undefined \newcount\pdfoptionpdfminorversion \fi \pdfoptionpdfminorversion=4 Or patch this in spec-tpd.tex (there is an \else in that file that shoul dnot be there) The mentioned v!synchroniseer problem has to do with a new cont-new.tex being used with an old context; texexec --make --alone may help here. Colors changing when applying "transparent"

Hi, I would like to use transparnt colors in one of the documents. However the resulting color is different with transparent color. Could anyone try the following code twice setting the %-sign in front of the fill-statement: \setupoutput[pdftex] \starttext \setupcolors[state=start] \startuseMPgraphic{tBG} path p ; p := unitsquare xscaled \overlaywidth yscaled \overlayheight ; fill p withcolor \MPcolor{white}; % With normal colors, everything is fine (blue is really RGB(0,0,1) % fill p withcolor transparent("normal",.5,\MPcolor{white}); % This however results in fading of ALL of the colors... \stopuseMPgraphic \defineoverlay[textBG][\useMPgraphic{tBG}] \setupbackgrounds[page][background=color,backgroundcolor=blue] \setupbackgrounds[text][background=textBG] \input tufte \stoptext I would expect that the optical appearance of blue shoud not change after application of the transparent color to the gray areq.
