Different behaviours between header and footer

Dear all, in the following example, header and footer behave differently, the frame at the bottom being out of the footer space. Could you tell me how to obtain a frame inside the footer like the header one? hyperlinks in latest beta?

The following code produces the right cross-references but dead links, at least at my end. \setupinteraction[state=start] \starttext Text A\reference[A]{}% Text B\footnote[B]{Text C.} \page once more \goto{Text A}[A] page \at[A] for Text A. Hi again, I’d like to flow some text around a picture. There was undocumented \starthangaround (it’s still in cont-new.mkiv in the garden), but it’s unknown in latest beta. proposal about link borders

Hi Hans, many thanks for fixing the issue with links (and other two issues about PDF information). I have two proposals about hyperlinks, after having looked at an uncompressed file with hyperlinks. AFAIK, they haven’t been implemented (I have checked the wiki, the “ConTeXt Commands” documents, the reference manual, and the source [I apologize, if I have overlooked something]). My first proposal would be an option to have link borders enabled. I guess that something like \setupinteraction[linkborders=on] would be a good choice. With this option, one can have an interactive version and a printable version of a document in the same file. This is extremely useful in many scenarios. My second proposal would be an option to have colored link borders. \setupinteraction[linkbordercorlor=on] could be the option to enable color in link borders. Placing arbitrary pdf bookmarks

Hello all, I am willing to use ConTeXt to produce a bunch of stickers. My stickers are grouped into categories but I don't want any headers or titles to interfere with the layout of the stickers, so I didn't use \startchapter and the likes. However, I would like to add pdf bookmarks in order to quickly jump to the start of a category. After taking a look at strc-bkm.mkiv, I tried the following \setupinteraction[state=start] \definelist[building] \definelist[aisle] \placebookmarks[building,aisle] \starttext \bookmark[building]{B1} \bookmark[aisle]{A1} Sticker 1 Sticker 2 \page \bookmark[aisle]{A2} Sticker 3 Sticker 4 \page \bookmark[building]{B2} \bookmark[aisle]{A3} Sticker 5 Sticker 6 \stoptext But it didn't worked. I didn't get any error message but no bookmark either. How can I directly add a bookmark to the pdf table of contents ? Previously I was using the ReportLab toolkit which provided for this purpose the bookmarkPage and addOutlineEntry functions. Is there a similar solution with ConTeXt ? font bug in latest beta?

Hans, is it possible that the latest beta has a bug in font handling? As far as I can see, all the usual TeX ligatures etc. do not work: \setupbodyfont[times] \starttext 1--2 o'clock \stoptext would be a minimal example. All best Thomas

issue with \processaction

\setupnotation[footnote][numberconversion=numerals] in latest beta

Dear list, I have the following sample that I cannot compile with latest beta: \setupnotation[footnote][numberconversion=numerals] \starttext Text\footnote{Text.}. \stoptext numberconversion=numerals seems to be the problematic part. suppressing console output

Hello, I'm running context mkiv, version: 2013.05.28 00:36 (from the 2013 TeX Live CD). We're getting floods of output from context, including lots of Underfull hboxes, and the names of .tex files that are being opened and closed. This is all within a build script that does several other things besides running context. I'd like to suppress non-critical output from context so that other important output from the script doesn't get so easily lost. I'm already logging that output to a file, but I'd like to be able to take advantage of the console as well. I've tried the following command-line options to context, as suggested by context --help: --batchmode --silent --silent=typesetting --noconsole but none of these seem to have any effect on the output! I could just have the script discard stdout from context; I'm not sure how much of the output that would get rid of, but it may be good enough. However it's not ideal. (When an error occurs, as sometimes happens, I don't want the error message and its context to be hidden while the console waits for the user to respond blindly. I assume that would be on stderr anyway though...) Can anyone tell me how to suppress non-critical messages from context as it runs? Thanks, Lars
