bug in blank pagebreak?

Dear list, I have the following sample: \definepagebreak [right:pagebreak] [yes, blank, right] %~ [yes, header, footer, right] \setuppagenumbering [location=inmargin] \setupheadertexts [Header text] \setuphead [chapter] [page=right:pagebreak, header=empty] \starttext \chapter{First Chapter} \dorecurse{12}{\input zapf\par} \stoptext With beta from 2015.07.16 13:30, footer from page 1 and header from page 2 are gone. But if I redefine the pagebreak with "header, footer" instead of "blank", both missing header and footer are placed in their right places. Isn’t it a bug? Or am I missing something? Multiline equations break grid in columnsets

I reported this some days ago, but it was a rather short report, which might explain why nobody has reacted upon it yet. So this time I'll go into greater detail: The grid system in columnsets works very well until the moment you include a multiline equation somewhere. This causes the entire rest of the page to be out of alignment with the grid. reverse page order and reverse page numbering in one part of a book

Dear all, I am producing a book that is divided into two sections. The book is published in English, and thus it runs left to right. Part one is an academic study in English. Part two is a critical edition of an Arabic text. The book is exactly 100 pages long, with fifty pages going to the English study, and fifty pages to the Arabic edition. In Part One (which includes all the front matter of the book, such as the table of contents, etc.): the page ordering runs left-to-right, the pagination runs from 1 to 50, and the page numbers should be printed in Arabic numerals. However, in Part Two (the Arabic text): the page ordering should run right-to-left, the page numbers should run in “reverse” pagination (in which “page 1" of the critical edition begins at the “back” of the book), and the page numbers should be printed in Hindi numerals. In other words, the structure of the book’s pages would be as follows (ellipses used to jump): 1 2 3 … 48 49 50 ٥٠ ٤٩ ٤٨ … ٣ ٢ ١ I would like the Table of Contents then to look something like this: Forward . . . . . . v English Study . . . 1 Arabic Edition. . . ١ Index of names. . . ٥٠ So my question is: is this currently possible in ConTeXt, to produce a single PDF, with such a TOC, from one file? Or am I bringing on too much of a headache upon myself, and it is easier to produce two separate files — but if so, how would one produce a TOC that includes the parts and page numbers of both documents? Illegal parameter number in definition

Hi all, I am totally new to ConTeXt. I am a long time LaTeX user and I got interested in ConTeXt by a posting from Pablo in the Pandoc mailing list. So he is to blame if you have to read silly questions from me in the future. ;-) To learn a bit more about ConTeXt I try to make an environment to typeset TEI-XML files from http://www.deutschestextarchiv.de (DTA) I ran into a problem with this XML from DTA: <head> <hi rendition="#g">Zehenter Brief.</hi> </head><lb/> <p><hi rendition="#in">S</hi>ie sind also mit mir darinn einig, und durch den Innhalt meiner I tried to map the rendition attribute to ConTeXt with this code: \startxmlsetups xml:teisetups \xmlsetsetup{#1}{*}{-} \xmlsetsetup{#1}{TEI|text|body|div|head|p|lb}{xml:*} \xmlsetsetup{#1}{hi[@rendition='#g']}{xml:hi} \stopxmlsetups The attribute of '#g' makes trouble. issue with hyphenation in linenotes

Dear list (especially Hans, Thomas or Luigi), some time ago I reported (http://www.ntg.nl/pipermail/ntg-context/2013/076021.html) a bug with not hyphenated code in linenotes. Now I have an updated sample that seems to fix it: \setuppapersize[A8] \starttext \startlinenumbering This text shows a \startlinenote[one]{bariant H} variant \stoplinenote[one]. This text shows a \startlinenote[two]{bariant H}\prewordbreak variant\stoplinenote[two]. This text shows a \startlinenote[three]{bariant H}\prewordbreak variant\stoplinenote[three]. \stoplinenumbering \stoptext It seems that locating \prewordbreak before the text to be hyphenated (and not after it) enables hyphenation in body. can't run external lua library

I'm trying to reuse a old library to generate poisson numbers. In old context versions the library works fine, but in the current beta (ConTeXt ver: 2015.07.16 13:30 MKIV beta fmt: 2015.7.23 int: english/english) the execution fails. issue with mailbox.org

Dear list, I have tried to reply to the message from Jan Urlich three times and it was rejected those three times, because of the following error: "ntg-context(a)ntg.nl": SMTP error from remote server after RCPT command: host: mx-1.mf.surf.net 5.7.1 82.165.159.42: on real-time blacklist zen.spamhaus.org Sorry, but I cannot negotiate which servers or IP addresses my mail provider uses. I don’t know whether the rejection is exclusively related to mailbox.org or it will happen with all my replies to any message from the list. Is there any way to whitelist my address for the mailing list? Sorry for the problems, but I have already experienced this and I would like to fix it forever. fonts not found with newotf

Hans, as reported in a previous message, using beta from 2015.07.16 13:30, enabling the newotf module in the following sample makes the Mechanica fonts not being loaded in the final PDF document: \usemodule[newotf] \definefontfamily [txfont] [tt] [Mechanica] [tf=file:Mechanica.otf, it=features:slanted, sc=file:MechanicaSC.otf] \setupbodyfont[txfont] \starttext \tt Test {\it amfe} {\sc amfe} \stoptext The attached newotf-error.log contains the error message. Since both font files were generated with FontForge, I would like to know what they are missing to report upstream to the FontForge developers.
