I have the following question about referencing. With \goto{typeset_the_text}[url(file://a_file_location_to_goto <file:///a_file_location_to_goto>.pdf)] I can open a pdf from inside the document that has been typeset. It would, however, be nice if I could further specify on which page of the pdf to open. Is this possible? Or is this a wish not to be fulfilled? dr. Hans van der Meer

problem with character entities in XML processing

The following use of character entities & aborts in ConTeXt. That is of course because the # is seen as a parameter. Changing this to &\#xxx; or &\letterhash xxx; typesets & as is, but that is not the intention, because an ampersand should appear. So, how do I proceed here? In 2013 (https://mailman.ntg.nl/pipermail/ntg-context/2013/075894.html) you implemented a method to avoid renewed \typesetbuffer compilation, if buffer and PDF document hadn’t been changed (by ckeching their MD5 checksums) and PDF document has been generated. Now \typesetbuffer compiles the document every time the main document is compiled (no matter whether the buffer or the PDF document haven’t been modified). Also the same fonts were embedded only once (as far as I can remember) and now they are embedded multiple times. Could you check the issues? Many thanks for your help, Pablo -- http://www.ousia.tk

columnset + floats = bad

Dear list, I wanted to make a conference poster in ConTeXt MKIV using the newcolumnsets. However, when I use floats weird shit is happening. Is this intended or am I doing something seriously wrong? MWE below, output of latest beta attached. mtxrun uses 'nil' for platform

Hello list, recent update of context suite (beta) changed something in the code of 'mtxrun' so now it shows me a warning: ${CONTEXT}/bin/mtxrun:20683: attempt to concatenate a nil value (field 'platform') I didn't notice this warning earilier. The line 20683 in 'mtxrun' is local texos="texmf-"..os.platform To check the return of 'os.platform' I made small lua script and run it as mtxrun --script SCRIPT --platform=linux-64 It returned 'nil nil'.
