xmlchainatt and xmllastatt

I found at best an inconsistency in the xml-mkiv manual and at its worst an omission in the code. I must conclude that \xmllastatt is not delivering the attribute retrieved with \xmlchainatt and that \xmllastatt seems restricted to calls of the \xmlatt family. This put me on the wrong foot for a while, because I understood the manual otherwise. Vide the minimal example given. dr. Hans van der Meer

I want to differentiate the typing of XML-code with \startXML and other text with \starttyping. That doesn’t work as I expect or I misinterpret something. The minimal example shows that in the following code there is no difference between using \startXML or \starttyping. dr. Hans van der Meer

Modes in tables

Dear list members I would like to disable to third column in the question when mode BL is not enabled. When mode BL is enabled (using the toggle), the third column should of course appear again. How can I achieve this? Construct tables column after column

Dear list members, Table are constructed row after row like in the code below: Building up a table row after row \par \bTABLE \bTR \bTC Row 1, Column 1 \eTC \bTC Row 1, Column 2 \eTC \eTR \bTR \bTC Row 2, Column 1 \eTC \bTC Row 2, Column 2 \eTC \eTR \eTABLE But is it possible to construct tables column after column? (The code below does not generate output. contextbeta moved or server down?

This used to give me the latest contextbeta: rsync -ptv rsync://contextgarden.net/minimals/setup/first-setup.sh . Today I get this error start download and iinstall of contextbeta rsync: failed to connect to contextgarden.net: Operation timed out (60) Is the garden down or have the sources been moved since my last access this June? Tabulate backgroundcolors

Dear list, I'm trying to color the background of “p” cells in tabulate. The MWE below will fail with the error “Undefined control sequence \IMPOSSIBLE” but when I enter scrollmode to finish the run, I get a PDF which looks exactly as intended. Looks like it's not \IMPOSSIBLE after all but there is actually just a definition missing. Can you please fix this? Dear list, The page wiki.contextgarden.net processes personal data. I can make an account there with my real name, and it stores my email address. Due to the GDPR [1], personal information has to be transmitted encrypted to lock out third parties. Could you please enable SSL on the Wiki? Interestingly, the modules page [2] already has SSL. Attempt to call a nil value

Hello list, since one of the last beta updates (now I have 2018.09.01) I can't use ConTeXt on my Win 10 32bit tablet anymore. I can't make PDFs because I get an error message. In fact, with CTX in my system path of course, even when I type the following into my command prompt, I get the same error: mtxrun --script context ./context.lua:11: attempt to call a nil value (method 'add_rule') This could have to do with the last adaption to Textadept 10. On my Win 10 x64 PC there is no problem. Any clues? Cheers and thanks, Lars.

If you need example how to use the commands take a look into the mtx-context-XXX.tex files.
