Line Tables problem

I tried to check the new line-table module for ConTeXt and for a rough start, the demo present in core-ltb.tex which start with: \setuplinetable[n=6,m={2,2,2},regels=25] \setuplinetable[c][1][width=2cm,background=color,backgroundcolor=red] \setuplinetable[c][4][width=3cm,background=color,backgroundcolor=yellow] .. doesn't work. The error message is: ! Missing number, treated as zero. <to be read again> n \v!nee ->n ee \stoplinetablepart ...>\linetableparameter \c!rek \else \setbox \scratchbox ... \linetableER ...plinetablecell \stoplinetablepart \savelinetablepart \advanc... l.732 ...b \NC c \NC ddddd \NC eeee \NC ff \NC \NR Tested with latest beta using cont-en.efmt and cont-nl.efmt as well in pdftex output mode. /S

m-bib and numeric references

Hi, I use the bibliography module for my references, and I have trouble setting it up like I want it. 1) I want to use numeric references, like [1] in the text. I'm getting a nice numbered list, but no numbers in the text, just [??]. What do I do wrong, according to the docs this should work. Below are the relevant lines from my setup: % bibliography \setupbibtex[database={ljname,references},sort=no] \setuppublications[alternative=apa] \setuppublications[sorttype=cite, criterium=used, numbering=yes, autohang=yes, refcommand=num] \setupcite[num][compress=yes,pubsep={, },lastpubsep={, },inbetween={--},left={[}, right={]}] \setupheadtext[en][pubs=Bibliography] 2) A minor other question, how do I right-align the numbers in the list, like .. .. 8. 9. 10. 11. ... you get the idea ;-) Regards, Maarten Mad, adj.: Affected with a high degree of intellectual independence.

Wrong pagebreak in column environment

Dear all, I'm posting my unsolvable problem, there is a minimal example with a wrong pagebreak between Frame 3 and Frame 4 in the same column environment. I seek a solution without manual intervention (for example without \page[yes,force]). I want to make a script generated layout. Please, let me know, if anybody has an idea. Thanks! Makempy example rotated

I copied the "E=mc^2" example from the Makempy manual and had an unusual result. The text is rotated by -90 degrees! I tried reducing the scale factor to 5 but it still comes out that way. Is this a FAQ or have I managed to screw something up? -- John Culleton Able Typesetters and Indexers

News for MikTeX hash size limit ?

Hi Giuseppe, Do you have any news for the hash-size limit in MikteX ? There were some update recently but it still doesn't compile my files (see previous mails 2003-04-08). I tried to install TeXlive, and the resulting installation was not very "clean". But my files were compiled. As I should finish to write my thesis in roughtly two months from now, do you think I should forget MikTeX and go on with TeXlive ? Thanks a lot, Seb.

Bug in layer graphics recalculation

It seems that either my ConTeXt installation is bugged or some bug sneaked in some late ConTeXt releases. The background graphics on each page are not recalculated as they should be, but only the first one is taken and set for speciffic layer. Following short example should make it visible: % output=pdftex \usemodule[pre-03] \starttext \TitlePage{How nice} \Topics{This is about ...} \Topic{The first one} \Topic{Another one} \stoptext It's been taken from s-pre-03.tex example code and doesn't work for me with latest beta and release version as well. The darker part of background ellipsis should be moving towards the endpoint on consecutive pages. It doesn't. Any thoughts? /S
