2 problems: 1) I'm trying to get \subsubsection to add a suffix (namely a colon) to every argument, viz. \subsubsection{Note} ===> Note: I tried \setuphead [subsubsection][style=bold, number=no, before={\blank[small]}, after={\blank[disable]}, prefix=-:] which results in ------------------------------- ! Swedish Keyboard

Hi, I am a Swedish user of ConTeXt. I am pretty new to the system and have the following problem: The Swedish language contains a few extra letters compared to English, all of which are supported by the Swedish keyboard. How do I set up ConTeXt (or am i looking in the wrong place) so that I can use the keys for å ä ö instead of having to type \aa \"a \"o? All help is appreciated :-) /Stefan Karlsson

\cap{} doesn't work on \"o and \aa

Hi all, I cant get \cap{} to work on letters like \"o and \aa. For example, \cap{sn\"o} results in the following message: "! Missing number, treated as zero". Have I missed something? Regards, Stefan Karlsson

I think font-ini.tex(?) has a small error in it (working with the 23-okt beta). When switching to {\xi } something different from {\xii}, {\x} etc. happens; xi doesn't seem to work. I have looked into font-ini.tex but could not find the source of the problem. Hans van der Meer

macros and buffers

Hi: Recently, I had some data I wanted set using tabulate but in 7 individual buffers. I wanted to use a macro to both create the buffers and do the \starttabulate...\stoptabulate stuff. I found that my macro could create the .tmp file for each buffer but that the files were all empty. Why would this happen, and is there a way to make this work? example: \define[5]\MyBuffers{ \startbuffer[#1] \starttabulate[|l|l|] \NC #2 \NC #3 \NR \NC #4 \NC #5 \stoptabulate \stopbuffer } Best Wishes, Matthew Huggett

Hi everybody, Preparing a document with a adapted header and TOC layout I encountered the following problem: \setuphead[section][prefix=Gedicht] generates the following error: pdfeTeX, Version 3.14159-1.00b-pretest-20020211-2.1 (Web2c 7.3.7x) (format=cont-en 2002.10.20) ConTeXt ver: 2002.10.2 fmt: 2002.10.20 int: english mes: english ... section : 1 Spaanse versie ! Undefined control sequence. <argument> \localkopprefix \setupreferenceprefix [#1]->\edef \@@rfprefix {#1 }\ifx \@@rfprefix \empty \l... \dodododosomekop ...renceprefix [\localkopprefix ] \fi \dosomebreak \nobreak ... l.22 \section{Spaanse versie} Using \def\Gedichthead%... and \setuphead[section][command=\Gedichthead] works fine. What is wrong with using the prefix operator? In the document also the TOC should be adapted: \setuplist[section][left=Ged.~,right=] There is no error on this statement. However the prefix of the line with 'Ged.' does not show. May be that I miss something in this approach? Please find attached a minimal test file. Cheers Willi

colorful listings

Greetings, unfortunately I cannot assign personal color palettes to my program listings. The following document, after processing, shows a colorful palet, then, unexpectedly, a B+W listing, then another colorful palet, and a colorful listing. What is wrong in the assignment of an own palet here? Fun with \setuphead

Dear coterie, I have defined another section: \definehead [SubNote][subsection] \setuphead [SubNote][style=bold, number=no] Now I want to do a certain operation on the argument of \subnote whenever it appears in the TOC. The argument should appear in the main text as expected: \SubNote{My Note} but it should appear as {\operation My Note} in the TOC. Put another way, I want to change/operate upon the lemma that's passed to the TOC. Is there a way I can wrap all this up in the \setuphead command? If not, what's the workaround? (For the curious: My main text (including headings) is fully accented. I have a command, "\onovocalize" which strips away all the accents. I want all my TOC entries to be\onovocalize'ed without affecting the rest of the text and need to setup my heads to reflect this.) About itemize

Dear posse, The itemize environment has a strange feature/bug: --------------- \startitemize \item Here is some text \stopitemize % Here is some text that SHOULD NOT be indented --------------- produces the same indentation as ---------------- \startitemize \item Here is some text \stopitemize Here is some text that SHOULD be indented ---------------- and even more puzzling: ---------------- \startitemize \item Here is some text\par \stopitemize\par Here is some text that should REALLY be indented ---------------- Could someone please explain how I can get text skipping a line after the itemize environment to automatically indent without a manual \indent every time?
