Dear knights, How do I get url hyperlinks? The following does not work, so I am missing something: \starttext {\tt \useURL [Adobe] [http://partners.adobe.com/public/developer/en/font/5091.Design_MM_Fonts.pdf… ][] }. \stoptext Also, is there a manual that covers this topic? Installing a non-standard encoding vector

Dear gang, I'm trying to install an expert font a with a non-standard encoding vector; can't use texnansi, ec, etc.. I tried the following: 1. I created an encoding file for my font (minion-o.enc), following the syntax /encminiono[ /ornament1 : /ornament23 /space ] def 2. I placed the encoding file in /texmf-fonts/fonts/enc/dvips/minion-o; 3. Textfont in math-formulas?

Hi There, I have a little problem with fonts in my document. I use the cm sans serif font in my text and want to have this in the tex-formulas to, but it worked not for me. Simple example: \enableregime[utf] \setupoutput[pdf] \mainlanguage[de] \language[de] \setuppapersize[A4] \setupbodyfont[ss] \starttext Some text, we can read it without serifs. But the formula: $ \frac{1}{x-2} $ is not in the same font. \stoptext BTW is there another way to have units like g/(cm^3) as to set them as tex-formula. I dont no if the module units do such things. customizing footnote numbers

Is there a way to manually set the number of a footnote rather than letting ConTeXt determining it? Something that works in the same way as \page[25]? For example, I might want to start footnote numbering at 1 at each chapter, *but I won't be using traditional ConTeXt divisions.* I've been searching the web and it seems that LaTeX has a way to reset counters, but I can't get this to work in ConTeXt. off topic: acrobat and dde

hi sorry for the off topic question, but perhaps there is someone here who can help me. i need a html page to bee converted into pdf and then to bee printed out (on a windows machine) without even open the acrobat reader (in the foreground). I think with dde this should be possible (right?). i searched some acrobat dde specifications on the net, but I didn't found anything useful, so is there a location to download them? if possible i plan to implement oll that stuff with python ... thanks for help severin

Charts

Hello, I am using the charts module as part of context to produce flowcharts and I am having problems when the flowchart goes above a page in that I can't get the system to automatically split the chart. I have the following setup commands in my context file \usemodule[chart] \setupFLOWcharts[maxwidth=\textwidth, nx=4] \setupFLOWsplit[ny=9, before=, after=\page] based upon the manual. I then use the command \FLOWcharts [bigchart] later in the document and the flowchart does not split, instead it runs off the bottom of the page. I have also tried using \splitfloat with no success either. spacing of values and units & ^{-2}

Hi, concerning m-units, it would be nice to configure whether to use a full space or a thinspace between a number and its unit. Furthermore, some space is needed between adjectant units like in 1\Meter\Inverse\Second. I know there are some old threads concerning this topic, initiated by me. But have there been any recent changes to the module, or are such changes planned? Btw: How to get a power to the minus 2? Neither 1\Meter\Square\Inverse\Second nor 1\Meter\Inverse\Square\Second work. Greetings, -- Eckhart

run external programs from tex

Hi, I wonder what would be the best way to use programs inline like it is possible for metapost. Are there already macros to set this up easily? I would like to use gnuplot, so something like [start|stop]GNUPLOTgraphic would be fine. Has anybody tried this or something similar? -- Eckhart

Is startcombination ... stopcombination broken?

I'm trying to bring two pictures next to each other by using \startcombination, but I always get this error (on my box + on contextgarden): ! Missing { inserted. <to be read again> \egroup l.5 \stopcombination ? ! Emergency stop. <to be read again> \egroup l.5 \stopcombination Minimal example: \starttext \startcombination[2] \framed{here} \framed{there} \stopcombination \stoptext I have tried with all kinds of braces in all possible places, to no avail. Or am I missing anything terribly obvious? Best Thomas

Line numbering and drop caps

It seems that the two don't go well together.
