Bold math in section titles ??

Hi! Is it possible to activate bold math printing in a chapter/section/subsection title? In the example the numbers withing math mode (and the greek symbols) are set in regular style, while the rest of the title is printed in bold. Removing space between figure and caption

I'm working on a presentation in ConTeXt, and running into a problem with some figures; I can't seem to figure out how to get things to do what I want. Here's a small file that demonstrates the problem: --------------------------------- \setupoutput[pdftex] \starttext \tfd \setupinterlinespace \setupcaptions[number=no] \setupcombinations[distance=5mm] \placefigure [here] {none} {\startcombination[2*1] {\scale[width=3in, height=2in]{X}} {\bfc Caption 1 \crlf Line 2} {\scale[width=3in, height=2in]{X}} {\bfc Caption 2 \crlf Line 2} \stopcombination} \stoptext --------------------------------- My problem is that space between the figures and the captions is much larger than I'd like. In the actual document, the figure contains its own whitespace, and so I'd like the top of the caption text to be right up against the bottom of the figure. Also, I'd like to make the spacing between the two caption lines a lot smaller. How can I accomplish this? Thanks, - Brooks

Animations in ConTeXt

Hello list, i have recently found the webpage http://www.tug.org/texshowcase/ with a lot of astonishing TeX typesettings. Most of all, because i was looking for this, i was impressed by the animation possibilities of pdftex. See 'LorenzAttractor.tex' in the 'Dynamic documents' section. It is a LaTeX implementation using a lot of JavaScript. Is something like this possible in ConTeXt? I'm aware of fieldstacks and step by step presentations. But i would like to generate 'pdf-movies', especially for mathematical animations using MetaPost as an graphical engine. There exists also a 'solution' for plain TeX: http://www.fi.muni.cz/~xholecek/animations/ But i had no success in generating the pdf-files from the sources. No animation was shown. So again. Is it possible to write something like the above animation packages in ConTeXt (as a module)? Unicode symbols in math mode

I was wondering if it would be easy to add UTF-8 transformations of symbols like ≥ to \geq in math mode, much like “ and ” are transformed to `` and '' (atleast I assume this to be true, as it works for me). presentations: "page number" and "next page"

Hello, Shortly: I would like modify the meaning of "previous/next page" buttons in interaction menu to point to the previous/next slide instead on the previous/next physical page. And I would like to number pages according to slides instead of considering physical pages. *********************************************************************** And here's a more detailed description: I use the "rsteps" module (by David Munger) for my presentation. I also use the interaction menu: \startinteractionmenu[bottom] ... \but [nextpage] \symbol[nextpage] \\ \but [lastpage] \symbol[lastpage] \\ ... \but [CloseDocument] \symbol[CloseDocument] \\ \stopinteractionmenu Instead of \but [previouspage] \symbol[previouspage] \\ \but [nextpage] \symbol[nextpage] \\ pointing on the previous and next slide, I would like these two buttons to have slightly different functionality: pointing to the LAST step of the previous/next slide. Apart from that, I would like to keep the page number on different steps of the same slide. I would use this number to print it in footer and to call it from Metafun (PageNumber, NOfPages or a similar name, as in meta-ini.tex). Here's the idea of how the presentation should look like. In the table below there's a: - real page number (in pdf document), - slide number (= same content gradually growing), - step on slide, - page number as it should be printed in footer and made accessible to metapost if needed, - real page number where the "Previous" button should point to, - real page number where the "Next" button should point to 1 - titlepage 2 - slide 1, step 1 - page 1 - < [titlepage] > 3 3 - slide 1, step 2 - page 1 - < [titlepage] > 6 4 - slide 2, step 1 - page 2 - < 3 > 6 5 - slide 2, step 2 - page 2 - < 3 > 6 6 - slide 2, step 3 - page 2 - < 3 > 7 7 - slide 3, step 1 - page 3 - < 6 > 10 8 - slide 4, step 1 - page 4 - < 7 > 10 9 - slide 4, step 2 - page 4 - < 7 > 10 0 - slide 4, step 3 - page 4 - < 7 > [none/self] I'm interested in the result on the first place, not so much on the mechanism that would "automatically recognize a new page and place everything as desired", so I don't mind if I have to (type)set anything manually.
