More stuff seems to reset this, so I know have to stick it just above \starttext. But that doesn't help in all cases. Bug in startitemize[text] ?

Hi Hans, \startitemize[text] causes a par break at the end. From the code, it looks like it should not. Here is an example \starttext Some garbage text \startitemize[text,r] \item This is a test \item Which does not work \stopitemize the garbage continues \stoptext There is a par break after the second item. The code in core-itm tries hard to introduce a \par when \listitemtext is true, but somewhere a \par slips in. I could not find out why this happens. \setupindending eats up space between formulas

Hi, I am confused s to what is happening here. See the output with and without setupindenting \setupindenting [medium,yes] \starttext \startformula Z^i_1 = f^{i,*}(X^i_1,U) \stopformula \startformula Z^i_t = f^{i,*}(X^i_t,U, P^i_{M_{t-1}}) \qquad t=2,3,\dots,T \stopformula \stoptext Why does setupindenting eat the space between the formulas? Aditya PS: A quick workaround is to use \startformula \startalign etc., but I think that there is a buglet somewhere.

many warnings after updating

Dear all, After updating ConTeXt via i-installer, I create the formats using texmfstart texexec --make en" texmfstart texexec --make --xtx en I tested several files which were compiled well under the previous version. But, I got so many warnings during the compiling. What do I have to do to resolve the problems? I am using TeXlive(not teTeX) under OS X 10.4. My installation is not changed except the ConTeXt. Layout Question

Hi, I bumped into a strange question. I used the following commands to set up the layout: \setuplayout[marking=color,location=middle, backspace=4.25pc, cutspace=20pc, topspace=4.25pc, bottomspace=7.5pc, footerdistance=3.5pc, footer=12pt, margindistance=2pc, header=0pc, headerdistance=0pc, leftmargin=0pc, height=middle, weight=middle] but when I change the value of cutspace here, nothing changes. TeXFont bug?

Dear gang, In a recent font install, TeXFont, with --show option did what it was supposed to, except that it did not process the resulting TeX file. Instead I get: irun: no perl.exe script of name texexec.pl can be found. Aborting. irun: CreateProcess 3 OTOH, I can run the tex file manually so all should be well. But it's still an apparent bug. Metapost and CMYK

Hi all, I have some questions about cmyk in combination with Metapost. Just by using \setupcolors[state=start, cmyk=yes, mpcmyk=yes, rgb=no, ] I get cmy(k=0) graphics, although all used colors are still defined in the rgb color space. This is really a nice feature and the automatic color conversion works relative good. Only (so far I have seen) gray tones have a noticeable tendency to brown (Acroreader 7.09). I have tested one of those gray tones by defining it as cmyk and the result looks ok. RGB(223,223,227) CMY(0.12548, 0.12547, 0.10980) CMYK(0.01762, 0.01760, 0, 0.10980) So is there a way to get cymk instead of cmy? Peter

Indenting tables

All - I am creating simple tables like this \starttable[|l|l|l|l|] \HL \VL \bf Time Frame \VL \bf SAN A \VL \bf SAN B \VL \bf SAN C \VL \AR \HL \VL 10pm to 6am - Backup \VL 1500 MB/s \VL 1500 MB/s \VL 1500 MB/s \VL \AR \HL \VL 6am to 10pm – NBU Vaulting \VL \rightarrow \VL \rightarrow \VL 4500MB/s \VL \AR \HL \stoptable The table is created fine, but I would like it to be "centered" in the surrounding text. The current table starts at the left page margin, rather than where the text starts. Is there a simple way to "indent" the left edge of the table to match the surrounding text? How to make a "natural" table float.

My task requires alternating whate and gray bars for a table. I was happy to jump on the Natural Table facility. Further, I want the table to "float" in the classic TeX fashion. I don't know the exact code for this in Context.
