Hallo! I wrote a little booklet with \setuppapersize[A5][A5] and \starttext \completecontent\page[right] ... \stoptext All goes right. But if I arrange the pages with \setuppapersize[A5][A4,landscape] \setuparranging[2UP] insteed, the table of content is empty! I got in the log: (e:\context\tex\texmf-local/tex/context/base/pdfr-ec.tex) (./anne2.tuo system : no utility data is loaded and some lines later: system : use a valid utilityfile In the .tui I found c \thisissectionseparator{-} c \thisisutilityversion{2006.09.21} c \thisisbytesequence{ÃEUR} c \utilitygenerationaborted q {quit} My version: ConTeXt ver: 2006.09.26 13:04 MK II fmt: 2006.9.26 int: english/english What I am missing? ragged right control

I have been setting bibliographies using the following instructions: \definehead[BibTitle][subject] \setupsectionblock[BibTitle][number=no,page=right] \setuphead[BibTitle][style={sc},after={\blank}] \def\hangover{\hangafter=1\hangindent=1.5pc\raggedright} \definestartstop[bibliography][ before={ \page[no] \indenting[never] \startalignment[left] \BibTitle{bibliography} \stopalignment \bgroup\appendtoks\hangover\to\everypar }, after={ \egroup \indenting[yes]}] Is there a way to control the degree of the raggedness of the right margin---other than by inserting hyphens manually when feasible? I need lines that are somewhat closer to justified than I am currently getting. Alan

Hi gang, I just learned that OOo 2.04 has a LaTeX export (downloading now). Any of you bright programmers up to writing a ConTeXt export (or porting the LaTeX filters to ConTeXt)? I'm quite serious: if anyone is interested I'll write (or help write) a grant proposal for it (I've already had some TeX-related proposals funded so...). Please write me if you are interested in a grant, or else we can just discuss it on dev-context(a)ntg.nl and get it done another way! columns does not break

Dear, final formating of Beginners' manual shows a bug of breaking columns (in setup index). Hello, I use the following code to format xml tables with context. There I want to exchange the meanings of align=[left|right], but I failed so using \mapXMLvalue. Any Ideas? prodint typescripts remove style

Hi Hans or Taco, or anyone else, the typescripts which you (recently) suggested for the prodint symbol work, but it turns out that any font styles (for example \bf, \it, etc.) do not. Bug with \quotation ?

Hi all, there seems to be a bug with the \quotation command: ConTeXt doesn't break the line after the closing quotes it generates. Hi all, I've installed the latest ConTeXt (+ pdfTeX 3.141592-1.40.0-beta-20061017-2.2 + MetaPost 0.99, the beta one) from scratch on a machine of mine... In order to test this brand new installation, I've processed my phd and experienced some problems: 1- the new enco-ffr contains \installactivecharacter : \installactivecharacter ; \installactivecharacter ? \installactivecharacter ! These \installactivecharacter yield to ! Extra tokens will be flushed. <to be read again> directdiscretionary l.54 } enddef \directdiscretionary {; Ok, the problem is solved if I comment out these lines and the horizontal spacing seems to be correct... 2- I have now the following error: ! Context, Metapost \sometxt and color

Hi The following used to work, the text came out in the color red, now it is shown in black. Am I doing something wrong here ? Or should I use something else instead ? How tow setup different fonts for Chinese and English ?

Hi, I'm writing notes with ConTeXt while learning something. The notes contains both English and Chinese. My question is ,how to setup different fonts for English and Chinese? I mean, I just need to setup once, and all the English words in the notes will use the same font while all Chinese words uses another different font. Thanks a lot. xiaojf
