Hi, for fine-tuning the TOC I use e.g. ... \writebetweenlist [section] {\def\TOCstyle{\switchtobodyfont[9pt] \setupinterlinespace[line=11.15pt]}} ... for adjusting the vertical space and thus the page breaks. Is is possible to do something similar to the register? Steffen

hello all <summary of previous episodes> I begin to be able to use utopia-expert fonts thanks to the fourier tricks located in the different type-*.enc. My previous work with TeXfont has not been entirely useless for it has helped me to understand what I needed to use the available material which gives access to utopia-expert. I would seize the opportunity to thank all the people who made available the howtos on ConTeXt, the wiki and so on. And also those who answered my first questions on this list, even if I choose not to follow all their recommendations ;-) To say the truth I've already devoted the last three days in learning how to use ConTeXt and cannot envisage to swap to LuaTeX before some time. </summary of previous episodes> But alas I've got a new problem which I state hereafter: I've tried this: \definesymbol [Telefon][\getglyph{umvs}{\char84}] because umvs.tfm is in the marvosym directory but it doesn't work. I've also tried marvosym (because there is a marvosym.pfb) instead of umvs but to no avail. I've succeeded nonetheless in obtaining the glyphs of fourier-orns with \definefontsynonym [Fourier-Ornements] [fourier-orns] [encoding=ec] \definesymbol [lefthand][\getglyph{Fourier-Ornements}{\char116}] Is it because I need to load a map or something? \useattachment: Embedding files in PDFs

Hi all, I can use \useattachment to embed/attach files in a PDF file. I can use: \useattachment[whatever][title][newname][test.tex] \attachment[whatever] This creates an attachment with the description "title" and the name "test.tex". However, how can I set the author/subject? (Shown in tool tip of the annotation symbol; it is shown above the description; actually subject is enough for me.) Additionally, I miss the file size and possibly the modification date for the attachments; they are often handy to have. Is is possible to associate an embedded file stream with the document itself without creating an annotation symbol as with \attachment in ConTeXt? (The PDF spec allows this; cf. e.g. 3.10.3 in the PDF spec and http://www.microtype.com/showcase/EmbedFiles.pdf for an example PDF file.) Tobias

installing expert font, pb with texfont

hello all I try to follow "My Way" of April 2005 "Installing Expert Fonts" by Idris Samawi Hamid, which is really clear, to install my own version of utopia-expert. I am now at the TeXfont stage and I've got two strange errors 1/ TeXfont complain about a missing texteuro 2/ hungarumlaut is in fact a right curly brace "}" which would give curious results in hungarian :) I've followed the guide step by step and the only difference I can spot is that the author refers to a "texnansi-lm.enc" which does not exist in my TeXlive 2007 and that I have used a "lm-texnansi.enc" as base file. nested tables?

Hello again, I would like to nest a table inside a table, something like this: \starttable[|c|c|] \NC {\bf ATout Choeur} \NC {\starttable[|c|] \NC Number 2008--1\FR \NC january 2008\LR \stoptable}\MR \NC {\tfa Something} \NC \LR \stoptable but 1/ I would like the top of the first cell of the first row to be aligned with the top of the second one (which contains the nested table); 2/ it seems that it does not work when the layout is set up with "grid=yes" If the answer to the second question is "Effectively, it can't work in such a layout", what could be a way of obtaining what I want? escaping filenames with externalfigure

Is there a way to escape special characters in filenames passed to externalfigure. I'm encountering the situation where users are choosing images that may contain brackets or curly braces (e.g., flower[1].jpg or flower{1}.jpg). If I pass filename containing these characters directly to externalfigure, the closing bracket is mistaken for the end of the filename. \externalfigure[flower{1}.jpg] % works \externalfigure[flower[1].jpg] % doesn't work I then tried to define a variable that holds the filename and pass that variable to externalfigure, but it ran into problems with curly braces. \def\myimagefilename{flower[1].jpg} \externalfigure[\myimagefilename] % works \def\myimagefilename{flower{1}.jpg} \externalfigure[\myimagefilename] % doesn't work Does anyone have any idea how I could handle arbitrary filename inputs that contain brackets and curly braces? ConTeXt-ifying Kile

Hullo, I've already mentioned that Kate/Kwrite and with that also Kile have a working ConTeXt syntax highlighting file available on kde-files.org What I'm trying to do now is including ConTeXt commands autocompletion in Kile. What I would need for that is a list of the commands (see attachment for more info). I seem to recall someone mentioned a texexec command to list all of these. This would be of great help to me and all the (future) Kile users. I can then edit the .cwl file myself and bug the Kile devs to include it — all I need is (how to get) the list of the ConTeXt commands.
