Sorry for reposting this message sent this morning: I thought it didn't go through… Hi Hans, I noticed that in math mode the spacement of some symbols are incorrect while using mkiv (they are correct in mkii). Here is an example %%%%% begin example \starttext Set $a := bc^{-1}$. \stoptext %%%%% end example In this example, there should be a space before and after ":=" as one may see it readily in mkii (and indeed in plain TeX…). LilyPond module 2009-06-05

Just released the latest version with some fixes: - pstopdf is only called if there's no pdf created (seems like LilyPond creates PDFs by itself even in EPS mode now) - before trying to move a file, the target gets deleted if it already exists - some more code cleanup Is someone in need of a MkII version? (I could make that, but only without the file system features.) BTW Mojca is planning for a general tempdir feature for all modules; probably the setup syntax will change a bit if it's ready. new beta

hi, i uploaded a new beta. a few small fixes, mostly related to metafun (i'll look into the reported structure bugs later) in the process of updating the metafun manual, i also enabled the multiple mp instance; this is a typical example where luatex beats pdftex in runtime (on my machine 47 seconds for 350+ pages with over 1700 mp graphics including a bunch of subruns; ) you can add definitions per instance, like: \startMPdefinitions{extrafun} color MyColor ; MyColor = red ; \stopMPdefinitions \startMPcode{metafun} fill fullsquare scaled 1cm withcolor MyColor ; \stopMPcode new instances, like the predefined extrafun, are defined as \defineMPinstance[extrafun][format=metafun,extensions=yes,initializations=yes] so, if you use tricky mp code, you can create your own instance (predefined are metafun, extrafun, nofun and metapost) you can redirect to an instance with a prefix: \useMPgraphic{nofun::purempgraphic} still somewhat experimental Hans ----------------------------------------------------------------- Hans Hagen | PRAGMA ADE Ridderstraat 27 | 8061 GH Hasselt | The Netherlands tel: 038 477 53 69 | fax: 038 477 53 74 | www.pragma-ade.com | www.pragma-pod.nl -----------------------------------------------------------------

Reference to equation fails

There seems to be a problem in the referencing to equations in the version of MKIV I'm using: ConTeXt ver: 2009.06.03 11:48 MKIV fmt: 2009.6.3 int: english/english In the following code, the reference to the equation fails, resulting in '??'. Captials in section head

I need all section heads to be in full-size capitals, so I tried: \setuphead[section][textcommand=\uppercase] \starttext \section{New section} \input knuth \stoptext But I still get lowercase. Page number updates

Hello again, I want to set up a header which stretches across the margins as well as the text area, so I've defined a layer for use as a background, as follows: \setuplayout[backspace=3.5cm,leftmargin=0.5cm,leftmargindistance=1.0cm] \definelayer[pagenumber][width=3cm,height=3cm] \startsetups layer \setlayer[pagenumber]{Page \pagenumber} \stopsetups \setupbackgrounds[header][leftmargin][setups=layer,background=pagenumber] \starttext \dorecurse{4}{\page[empty]} \stoptext Unfortunately, the page numbers are all '1'. If I change the line: \setupbackgrounds[header][leftmargin][setups=layer,background=pagenumber] to \setupbackgrounds[page][setups=layer,background=pagenumber] the page numbering works, so I can get what I want by adjusting the offsets of the layer.
