lpeg substitution

Hi all, I'm working on my Greek module again and am trying to filter and massage the input via lpeg, but there's something I don't quite get. As a minimal example: suppose I want to substitute A and B in my input with X and leave all other letters alone. Here's my attempt: \startluacode do local replace = { A = "X", B = "X", } local dosub = (lpeg.Cs(1)) / replace local subs = (dosub)^0 function test (string) tex.sprint(lpeg.match(subs,string)) end end \stopluacode \def\Substitute#1{\ctxlua{test("#1")}} \starttext \Substitute{ABC} \stoptext It substitutes alright, but the "C" is not included in the stream which ctxlua gives to TeX. Change whitespace before item?

Say I want to change the whitespace before an item in an enumeration. The diagram below: |.....(a) Item 2 |.....(b) item 2 Say I want to change the whitespace (represented by the dots) in a list? How can I do that? Tried various settings: changing margin, adding hskip, but nothing seems to do the trick. There doesn't seem to be anything in the docs... How can I get a question answered on this list, BTW? It seems that no one either knows anything or are too busy for simple questions. FYI, devs, this language is going to die if you don't get more users....

problem with layers and line spacing

Hi, I am attempting to do some work with layers that can repeat (and update) using \startsetups & \stopsetups. However I find that the line spacing in a \framed in the layers is not alterable and instead tracks the font size on the page. I'm attaching a simple example (it shows the same issue under MKII and MKIV, although the \vbox{} example does not work under MKII). If you remove the \startsetups and \stopsetups the line spacing works like it should. While they are used, the line spacing in the layer's \framed tracks the setting in \switchtobodyfont[12pt]. It does not track to either 6pt or 8pt. And I can't find a way to reset the spacing (I tried adding in a \setupinterlinespace[reset]). Am I doing something wrong? I've tried with MKIV 2009.06.03 and 2009.08.07, and MKII at contextgarden. Thanks! missing space between text and a formula

Hi, I found the solution to my problem about missing space between text and a formula in MKII when using \indenting[next] (see http://archive.contextgarden.net/message/20080424.112935.a81d9346.en.html) however it seems to me that the proposed fix hasn't been applied to the ConTeXt distribution after that. \currentdate and language deo

Hi all, something doesn't work with language deo in the latest current. Testfile: \mainlanguage[deo] \starttext test: \currentdate \stoptext Switching language to de makes the file compile. All best Thomas

addtransparencygroup()

Hi, in the function codeinjections.addtransparencygroup() there is a tostring() around the dictionary. This results in '/Group (<< dictionary >>)'. Removing the tostring function gives the desired result. BTW: thanks for keeping this part open. I'm currently trying to adapt my 'codeinjection' stuff and it helps a lot, if you can do this without patching some files. I need to insert stuff into /Info, /Catalog, PDFpageattribute and PDFdocumentcolorspace (guess that's all). Best wishes, Peter

Using verbatim text with combinations

Hi, I am having some problems using two (side by side) frames containing verbatim text. Can anybody suggest the right approach to this problem? As long as indents are at the right position, I can also survive without the frame around the text. git repository

Hi, I don't know if you have noticed that the git repository has been replaced by a newer one. Due to the contradiction between the rather linear development and the non-linear storage in the repository I have chosen that all releases will be in a single branch 'master' and tagged as stable or beta. Please consider the git repository as experimental, at least until the end of the conference in delft.
