mixed profiles in validation

Hi Hans (and Steffen), I get mixed profiles with the following source: \setupbackend[format=ua2] \starttext a \stoptext The latest version of VeraPDF (https://software.verapdf.org/) complains of both PDF-2 UA-2 detected and PDF-1.7 A-3a. In fact, only VeraPDF only validates PDF-1.7 (and results are a mess). I must admit I don’t know what may be causing the inclusion of the A-3a profile (marking). Any ideas about what may be going wrong here? Many thanks for your help, Pablo

Copy PDF text without hyphenated words

Hi, I recently learned that Typst seems to be able to produce PDFs where a hyphenated text can be copied without the hyphenation (so all words in the copied text are not hyphenated). I seem to recall that the PDF format has an extra mode for this, where the creation program can embed some text that should only appear when copied and replace the word parts that are visible on the page. ConTeXt, in it's default mode, seems not to embed this text. When copying hyphenated words, the hyphenated word parts appear as distinct words (even without the hyphen). Is there a way to tell ConTeXt to produce PDF where the text can be copied without hyphenated words? Gerion

Invalid href in ToC in exported html

Hi, It seems (unless I am missing something) that hyperlinks in the table of contents for the exported html are incorrect when `reference` is set. extending protrusion values for Greek characters

Dear list, as I’m playing with column sets for parallel texts, I have noticed that some Greek characters lack protrusion values. Is there a way to add them (as an extension to "protrusion=quality" values) to a single document? This would be great to test them (to consider their addition to main ConTeXt in the future). cutting pages for booklet

Dear list, the way to have a booklet is straightforward: \setuppapersize[A4][A3, landscape] \setuparranging[2UP] \setupbodyfont[128pt] \setupmakeup[page] [pagestate=start, align=center, style=\ssbfd] \starttext \dorecurse{24} {\startmakeup[page]\recurselevel\stopmakeup} \stoptext But what happens if I already have landscape A3 that I need to print as an A4 booklet? I mean, which is the way to instruct ConTeXt to cut each A3 page in half and arrange each half in its proper position in the booklet? Many thanks for your help, Pablo

externalimage alignment inside frame changed from previous context version

Hello, I need your help. I just upgraded context. The chapter def below used to produce perfect centered number, image and chapter text. Now the image is slightly moved to the right (a divider 42mm wide by 2.5mm height). What can i do? Please help. Problem with LMTX and heading with alternative=margintext

The following example produces the expected result under --luatex. It hyphenates the long word and positions the chapter number within the frame. Under LMTX, the long word is not hyphenated and the chapter number is shifted out of the frame. \setuphead [chapter][alternative=margintext] \starttext \chapter {Establishment} \input klein \contextversion \stoptext The problem goes back at least to version 20240621 (running on https://www.context-on-web.eu/) I did not experiment with other mechanisms that place text into the margin. -- Rik

prevent a kind of heading at the bottom of the page

Hi folks, once again I have a problem - I'm sure it's not one for you experts! The date line should therefore function like a heading. If I move it via \subject{\DDate{20250101}} the font size is of course no longer correct and I have blank lines underneath. setting the space after a figure

Hello, I want to set to space between a figure (float) and the main text. I thought this worked: \setupfloat[figure][spaceafter=2cm] but it does not, while this: \setupfloat[spaceafter=2cm] works, but -- I suppose -- it does effect every float, not just figures.
