Mark IV with TL2010 pretest

Hello, I am installing TL2010 pretest and wonder whether ConTeXt Mark IV runs out of the box or there are certain setup procedures to go. Also I would be grateful if someone can point to a good reading resource for how to get opentype fonts going with the ConTeXt's LuaTeX engine. Postscript Type1 fonts & MK IV

I'd like to get some Postscript Type1 fonts working with MK IV (installed via the minimals under Linux). I placed the *.pfb fonts in ~/.fonts and did: mtxrun --script fonts --reload mtxrun --script fonts --list --all --pattern=* ...but the output doesn't show any of the *.pfb fonts. The *.ttf fonts installed alongside them in ~/.fonts do show up, and I can create PDFs with those ttf fonts using the `context` command, but I'm not sure how to proceed with the Postscript fonts. ConTeXt meeting Lua tutorials

Hi all, Today I started preparations for my activities at the ConTeXt meeting. There are two small lua tutorials in the program, and I am looking for input on both. There is one that is supposed to be a general beginner's introduction, and one specifically about fonts. For both, I am looking for input on what subjects I should cover? Since both tutorials will end up as articles/wiki pages, it makes sense to ask everybody on the list for input (but requests by actual attendees will be scored considerably higher). Centered framed text in two columns

Dear All, I would like to vertically center a framed text in front of an item list, something like : - item - item - item my framed text - item - item I tried with two columns then by defining a paragraph but without success. I would also like the columns to have a fixed width like 70%-30% of the textwidth. Any hint ? Migrations: exactly LaTeX margins --> ConTeXt margins

Hi, I want to "migrate" one LaTeX document to ConTeXt document. I only want to put the _exact_ margins LaTeX use for \documentclass[12pt,a4paper]{article}. Anyone could say me the exact values I have to put in **layout**? Thanks, Xan.

Hi, Another time ;-) I have \definedelimitedtext [abstract] [leftmargin=yes, spacebefore=line, style={\switchtobodyfont[9pt]},after=\normal] and I want to indent more the abstract. What are the options of definedelimitedtext? In the manual there is no mention for that. Is there any way of doing the same as \startnarrower[2*middle,3*middle]? Thanks in advance, Xan.

Hi, I just want to simulate the behaviour of \usepackage{enumerate} ... \begin{enumerate}[(i)] \item \end{enumerate} in ConTeXt. That is: - items in (i), (ii), .... - right indentation of items: in context items start at the same point. In LaTeX is the item text itself who starts at the same point, not the romans.
