Hi, I have some general graphics, which I would like to access from the lua side. The graphics are added to the graphic search path via \setupexternalfigures[locations={local,global,default}, directory={<path to graphics>}] What I now need is a way in lua to locate the graphics (no inclusion) and to get the full path of the file. I have looked into 'the base' but couldn't find a way to do it. Peter

Word count

Hullo, since many texts (academic and otherwise) have to comply with a certain word or character limitation and just using 'wc' on the whole source file(s) would not be relevant, is there a way to do this in ConTeXt? Also it would be very useful, if it was possible to get some more detailed statistics. Should \url be clickable?

Hullo, I'm trying to add a few links to my document and although the Wiki[1] says \url[] should be the same as \from[], but it isn't — the former isn't clickable, the latter is though. Is it again something I'm doing wrong or don't understand? Modes in MkIV minimals (bug?)

Hullo, I'm working on my thesis (and it's "pf_ul" styling[1]) and I tried to include modes. The thing is that modes seem to be set right and work when invoked in CLI (e.g. 'context --mode=osnutek,zaslon diplomska.tex', but ConteXt seems to completely igonore lines in text such as: \enablemode[osnutek] Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong? Lettermodule: error message

Hi Wolfgang, Today I updated Context and hereafter the letter module stopped working with the following error: ! A bit weird \underbar behaviour (MkIV only)

The code \usemodule[units] \starttext $y = \underbar{20 \Mega\Bit\Per\Second}$. \stoptext produces space before y and it and y get underbared. MkII produces an expected result. On the other hand, in \starttext $y = \underbar{g a w}$. \stoptext underbar doesn't appear (other letter combinations I tried seem to work). MkII can't compile this and ends with ! Incompatible list can't be unboxed. -- Vedran Miletić

Is there a way to justify the line? I mean no word hyphenation, and words are justified like in office word. My boss is quite angry to see hyphenations at the end of lines in my file. What a hell.

Hi, At the context conference Taco presented a new initiative with respect to manuals. For those who cannot (or don't want to) print and bind at home we offer a printing on demand service. This week we send out the first copies of the (new) metafun manual: http://www.boekplan.nl/node/9 More will follow. We hope that this will (partially) answer the need for manuals. We still have to find out which manuals (also new ones) should become available as it takes a bit of effort to keep this flow running and to turn manuals in some book-like form, so best keep an eye on the site if you're interested.
