Bibliography: Setting `alternative=` without `criterium=all` displays nothing (ConTeXt: 2011.11.25)

Dear ConTeXt folks, using ConTeXt ver: 2011.11.25 21:29 MKIV fmt: 2011.11.25 int: english/english and the following minimal example (attached too) \setupbibtex[database=sample, sort=author] \setuppublications[alternative=ada] % Show reference numbers in the generated list. \starttext As \cite[hh2010b] already indicated, bibtex is a \LaTeX-centric program. \CONTEXT\ \contextmark\ \contextversion \completepublications \stoptext the references are not displayed. Not specifying `alternative` or adding `criterium=all` (`cite` does not work either) displays the references again. Could someone please confirm this with a recent ConTeXt version? Thanks, Paul

bibliography: current status, Wiki page Bibliography, [[error 2]] and bibltx

Dear ConTeXt folks, I am trying to use the module bib, but I only get [[error 2]] displayed. I am following the Wiki page Bibliography [1], which suggests the following example (adapted by me). \usemodule[bib] \usemodule[bibltx] \setupbibtex[database=sample] \setuppublications[numbering=yes] % Show reference numbers in the generated list. \starttext As \cite[hh2010b] already indicated, bibtex is a \LaTeX-centric program. \completepublications \stoptext I copied the file `sample.bib` @STRING{hh = {Hans Hagen}} @ELECTRONIC{hh2010, author = hh, year = {2010}, title = {Metafun. \CONTEXT\ mkiv}, url = {http://www.pragma-ade.nl/general/manuals/metafun-s.pdf}, } @ARTICLE{hh2010a, author = hh, title = {The Font Name Mess}, journal = {MAPS}, year = {2010}, volume = {40}, pages = {2-8}, keywords = {context}, } @ARTICLE{hh2010b, author = hh, title = {Grouping in Hybrid Environments}, journal = {MAPS}, year = {2010}, volume = {40}, pages = {67-71}, keywords = {context}, } @BOOK{Eijkhout1991, title = {\TeX\ by Topic. Unfortunately I only get »[[error 2]]« displayed. Please find all files attached. Regarding `bibltx` the bib manual does also contain it [2][3]. Searching the Wiki for it, it says that it was dropped in version 2006.04.06 [4]. \lastpage is not set when using arranging

Bug with caption

Hi, If I use \setupcaption[number=no] and include a float with no caption, then all subsequent floats do not have a caption! Here is an example (using 2011.11.29) \setupcaption[number=no] \startbuffer \startnotmode[bugfix] \startplacefigure[location=here] Figure with no caption \stopplacefigure \stopnotmode \startplacefigure[location=here, title={Test}] Still no caption! \stopplacefigure \stopbuffer \starttext %% The float is shown with a caption here \enablemode[bugfix] \getbuffer %% The second float does not have a caption now. \disablemode[bugfix] \getbuffer \stoptext Aditya

Export (table cell alignment)

Tabulate-export

Footnotes break out of columnset (current beta)

Hello, In TeXLive 2011, the following works correctly (footnotes in column) -- although the footnote rule does not appear, as I have noted in another post. In the current beta (29 nov 2011), the footnotes span the whole page and are run over by the body text columns. The footnote rule also continues to be absent. Possible bug in \unit

There seems to be a bug in the new unit system for \unit{kbit}: % bit \unit{kilo bit} % kbit \unit{kilobit} % kbit \unit{kbit} % kB, shouldn't this be kbit? Another thing: \unit{3.4e-5} yields to 3.4⁻⁵ that's expected according to the manual. But how to get 3.4·10⁻⁵ (either with \cot or \times)? Marco Patzer
