problems with t-letter - reference line

Hello, I have updated my context system (recent beta) and get some problems with the t-letter module. (also updated) I'm not able to get a reference line. See attached example. Are there some changes in the interface? The date is in English, but I have switched the mainlanguage to German. Thanks! Thomas

Newest ConTeXt in Windows7: kpathsea60.dll is missing ?

So, I went and updated my ConTeXt today as I've got nothing really critical going on. I'm running ConTeXt on Windows 7 (64-bit) and I used firstsetup.bat --modules=all to update it. Everything works fine otherwise, but during the installation process both mpost.exe and pdftex.exe complain that "The program can't start because kpathsea60.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem." I've never seen that complaint before, but now I get it consistently, also after rebooting and updating directly after restart. Both eventually stop complaining after I'd clicked on OK multiple times ("yes,yes, just go on, will ya"). It doesn't seem critical (I don't use MetaPost and I run MKIV anyway) - or at least the first test file compiled without complaints, but now I'm wondering whether my Windows has a problem (MS update related, maybe?) or whether the Suite has a problem in Windows. And my ConTeXt is the newest available, because I'm now running version ConTeXt ver: 2011.12.23 09:52 MKIV and that's more recent than my most recent working day before this. :-) Thanks, Mari

streams not working?

Hi there, I'm trying to get some poems in a bilingual document using streams. The example at http://source.contextgarden.net/m-streams.tex (referenced by the wiki page) doesn't work for me either. This is all Greek to me. What am I missing here? Hyphenation in Natural Table

Hello, I want to clarify the topic: is it possible to enable hyphenation in Natural Table? Hi all, would someone please enlighten me. What is the correct usage of \definelayout? \definelayout[default][width=middle,height=middle,header=0pt,footer=0pt] % \setuplayout[default] % needed? \definelayout[first] [default][header=2cm] \definelayout[unknown][default]%[reset] % \definelayout[2] [default]%[reset] \definelayout[last] [default][footer=2cm] \starttext \showframe % \checkcurrentlayout %% Variant A: fails with \default[unknown] first\page unknown=(2)\page \page unknown=(3)\page last %% Variant B: fails with \definelayout[2] % first\page unknown=(2)=last \stoptext By the way the output differs with the latest beta in comparison with the latest experimental. Header/footer fonts problem in 20 DEC 2011 beta

Hello, I just installed the 20 Dec beta and noticed the following (compared to 29 Nov beta): 1. Headers and footers on ODD PAGES ONLY do not respect text styles set via \setupheader[style=\ss] and \setupfooter[style=\cg]. Text in both cases is in serif type. Headers and footers on EVEN pages have correct fonts. However, setting the font variant and size directly in \setupfootertexts[\cg\bf Footer Text] works for odd pages. On the plus side: 2. \restoreinterlinespace is no longer needed with section headers in a grid layout. (See: http://archive.contextgarden.net/message/20050620.212538.c081f1e4.en.html) Thank you for fixing that. 3. columnsets no longer run into the page footer area when using \setupheader[state=high]. 2UP broken or changed?

MetaFUN's \setupMPpage broken?

Hi ConTeXt user's, A few weeks ago I upgraded to the 11-11-29 version (MkIV) and today installed the 11-12-23 version (MkIV). The \setupMPpage command in the basic example below: \setupMPpage[offset=1pt] \startuseMPgraphic{test} fill fullsquare rotated 45 ; \stopuseMPgraphic \starttext \startMPpage \includeMPgraphic{test} \stopMPpage \stoptext yields the following error in both versions mentioned above: ! Undefined control sequence. system > tex > error on line 1 in file test.tex: Undefined control sequence ... All this worked just fine in the version of last August! Regards, Gerard Verhaag

Offsetting the Item Symbol

Hi All, I would like to offset itemized lists including the item symbol itself and I cannot figure out how to achieve that. I have looked at the setupitemize options but I did not find any option that does what I want. Any help in doing this will be very much appreciated. Thanks, Emmanuel
