framedtext in itemize

Why does framedtext extends to the right in \itemize? Shouldn't the width be reduced by the extend of the item-shift? Isn't that the idea behind the "fit"-parameter. It wouldn't be a problem to calculate a reduced width, but how can I access the marginshift caused by the item? SciTE configuration to use mkiv instead of mkii

Hello, I installed and configured SciTE today to try it out. I am using the standalone distribution. When I try to process a context document with F7, SciTE calls texexec and uses mkii instead of mkiv (I always use mkiv/luatex). How do I configure SciTE to use mkiv? mod_php vs context: tight loop

Hello list, I have a PHP application which generates documentation on the fly with context. This has been working really well, but I am now testing deployment on a new server with a more recent version of context, and it seems to be somehow getting itself into a tight loop. When I run texexec via the mod_php apache module, the command never returns, and `ps ax` shows the following: 9709 ? S 0:00 sh -c texexec --check 2>&1 9710 ? S 0:00 /bin/sh /usr/bin/texexec --check 9711 ? R 9:59 /usr/bin/texlua /usr/bin/mtxrun --usekpse --execute texexec --check `top` shows the mtxrun process eating 99.9% CPU. Attaching an strace to this process, once it is underway, shows no output. My test script is as follows: <?php $result = null; system("texexec --check 2>&1", $result); print $result . It seems that this must be down to some kind of difference in Apache's execution environment -- I don't see any other way to explain the same PHP code working in cli and failing in mod_php, even when running as the same user. But what possible environmental factor could lead to mtxrun freaking out like this? I'm hoping someone on this list may be able to point me in the right direction. Hi there, playing with an example posted by Wolfgang to the list, I'm trying to generate a bilingual poetry edition (original and facing translation). My second question is how can I do that numbering on both sides is really independent. I mean that chapter and similar titles have the same number that its facing translations (and the same for footnotes). My third question is how can I number lines there, since I get the following error when using \starlinenumbering ... \stoplinenumbering (this is all Greek to me): !LuaTeX error: There should have been a lua <node> here, not an object with type nil! ==> Fatal error occurred, no output PDF file produced! I'm working my way through the ConTeXt manual/reference. I discovered the draft of a new manual at: http://wiki.contextgarden.net/manual_being_revised -- is this the latest available anywhere? I'm finding a lot of things that are out of date in the new draft (for instance, using \setupnote[footnote] instead of \setupfootnotes) which generally means doing it wrong, searching google and the wiki for information, and finding out that things have changed :) Is this the best way? c -- Chris Lott <chris(a)chrislott.org>

Beta: bug in \setuphead[chapter]

With the latest beta, \setuphead[chapter] has a strange behavior: the order of two keys seems to be important… More precisely \setuphead [chapter] [header=high, align=middle ] results in an error (see below), while \setuphead [chapter] [align=middle, header=high ] works as expected (I had a tough time to find the bug and this minimal example…). Undefined controle sequence with usemodule[vim]

Hello everyone, When I use t-vim module, I get this error message: <error msg> system > tex > error on line 15 in file vim.tex: Undefined control sequence ... </error msg> for example with this code: <code> \usemodule[vim] \definevimtyping[python][syntax=python, escape=on] \starttext \startpython # Returns \m{\sum_{i=1}^{n}i} def sum_upto(n) r = range(1, n+1) return sum(r) \stoppython \stoptext </code> But as you can see, there is no line 15 in this file ! Anyway, I can just ignore the error and get the output, but that’s not good. I attached the log file.
