Format creation with luatex

Hi, I fail to create a format with luatex. I followed Hans' instructions¹ from TUG 2009. Reset counters by sectionblock

Dear Severin, Try the following in the preamble. \usetypescriptfile[your-typescript file-name]%if you save it as another file. \usetypescript[MyIPAex] \setupbodyfont[Myface, rm, 12pt] I hope that it helps you. If it doesn't work for you, then other experts can tell you something. Simplefont is a good module which makes font-definition easy. But the different style of the name of Korean fonts hindered me to use it. There may be a way to use simplefont for Korean fonts which I don't know yet. Best regards, Dalyoung

non-standard still breaks as non-stan- dard the stan- protruding from the text-block, whilst the rest of the line is compressed as much as possible... Maybe context thinks, if it breaks at the hyphen you can't tell that there was meant to be a hyphen, so to be clear it uses two...? I can't make much sense of it. Beta breaks gantt module

Somewhere between the beta 2012.03.10 13:15 and 2011.11.29 23:11 the gantt module got broken. Nested floats

Hi, I need to create some small tables that are (possibly) next to each other. Though I could make text flow around tables and appear to the left or to the right of the table, I could not manage something like this: +--------------------------------------+ | | | | Table 1 content | Table 2 content | | | | | Table 1 TITLE | Table 2 TITLE | | | | +------------------|-------------------+ So I tried to use nested floats to achieve this (floats because I want each to have its own number and title). Below my mail, I have pasted the code I used to accomplish this. I don't understand why, but it starts numbering with 7 onwards. Is there a way I can fix the numbering? Symbolsets

Hi all, Also with the todays beta I am unable to get Martin Vogel symbols. If \showsymbols[martinvogel 2] is used a long list of symbols is typeset, but not what is defined as this symbolset. Calling \setupsymbolset[atronomic] \symbol[zodiac] does result in the text zodiac in the document. Hints would be appreciated, kr Willi

Beste lezers, Deze week worden beide harde schijven van de NTG server vervangen als onderdeel van het reguliere onderhoud. Als gevolg daarvan zal de gehele machine (alle email lijsten en websites) vanaf woensdagmiddag tot donderdagochtend onbereikbaar zijn. We doen ons best om alle services weer zo snel mogelijk aan de praat te hebben. --- Dear readers, This week both of the harddisks of the NTG server will be replaced as part of regular maintenance. Consequentially, the whole machine (including all mailing lists and websites) will be unreachable from Wednesday afternoon through Thursday morning. Footnotes

Hi all, I try to make-up an old book... Due to the fact that it is a scientific text there are footnotes: about 70 I have them all in buffers. However when saying \footnote{\getbuffer[1]} I get an ugly new line in the footnote at the bottom of the page. - How to prevent this unnecessary hard-return? Secondly there is a problem with the numbering when the footnote is called from a tabulate-environment. In place of starting with 1 it starts with 2. The most strange thing is, that in case of two footnotes in tabulate the numbering even starts with 3. I need to refer to the reference of footnotes. So if the first footnote is \footnote[1]{\getbuffer[1]} I say \note[1] where it is needed. However I get the double questionmark for a missing reference. I would be happy to finalize this book, but ... Willi
