Math fonts in TeXLive 2012

Hi all, I'm testing some math fonts with ConTeXt in the current TeXLive pretest (2012.05.25 18:21). I'm not sure which are supposed to work with MKIV, but I found typescripts for the following ones in type-imp-*.mkiv which are also included in TeXLive: * Latin Modern * Euler * Asana * Palatino (px) * Times (tx) * Utopia (mathdesign) * Charter (mathdesign) * Garamond (mathdesign) * Antykwa Torunska * Iwona * Kurier * Xits Compiling the example in the attachment I found than Euler and all Mathdesign derivatives are not working. Does anyone know if Millenial will be supported by TeXLive 2012? Also MKII supported Fourier (for Utopia and Schoolbook). What is the status of this font in MKIV? Cheers, Tim P.S. pushing margintext up

Hello all, is there a way for margintext to 'respect' the lower border of the page and push the margintext up, pushing other margintexts upwards while doing so? example: \definepapersize[wissenschaft][width=170mm,height=240mm] \setuppapersize [wissenschaft] \setuplayout [topspace=40pt, header=0pt, headerdistance=0pt, backspace=42pt, leftmargin=0pt, width=280pt, height=560pt, rightmargindistance=20pt, rightmargin=100pt, footer=0pt] \setuppagenumbering[alternative=doublesided] \setupmargindata [margintext] [location=outer, width=100pt, align=flushouter] \starttext \showframe \input tufte \input tufte \input tufte\margintext{This is too low, if there are many words in this note.} \stoptext Kind of hard to explain, I hope the example makes everything clear. Small integral signes with Palatino

How to typeset recipe symbol for a doctor's prescription pad

Good day! Been trying to typeset a prescription pad template for a doctor but am stumped at the recipe symbol. Searched the internet for help but I just couldn't find it. Hope someone who has tried using this symbol in MKIV can help me with this one. Thanks. problem with cow font

ConTeXt MKIV 2012.05.22 and \footnote

The latest ConTeXt MKIV (standalone) does not produce footnotes. \startcomponent Stuff\footnote{a note.} \stopcomponent This will show “Stuff” with a footnote call but no footnote appears at the bottom of the page. All is as it should be with MKII. Alan

Missing "missing character" warning

Hello all. Reading the manual “Fonts in ConTeXt” I found the following statement (p.97): “In both cases we end up with a message in the log file and a resulting file with missing data”. [When the font doesn't provide a glyph]. Now, the only case when the warning is issued is using mkii with xetex (texexec -xtx), not with mkiv. (Unsurprisingly, the file with missing data is always there :-) Minimal example: %% start \mainlanguage[hr] \starttext Ja sam sȃm, i sȃm sam došao da izvršim pravdu. \stoptext %% stop The name of the char is: LATIN SMALL LETTER A WITH INVERTED BREVE (0x0203) So: $ context prova.tex $ grep -i -E '(warn|miss)' prova.* [ match nothing ] $ texexec --xtx prova.tex $ grep -i -E '(warn|miss)' prova.* prova.log:Missing character: There is no ȃ in font [lmroman12-regular]:+liga;+kern;mappi prova.log:Missing character: There is no ȃ in font [lmroman12-regular]:+liga;+kern;mappi It's not a regression, since the behaviour is the same with the last year ConTeXt. I checked that I have shell_escape = t shell_escape.context = t shell_escape_commands.context = mtxrun,luatools,texmfstart,texexec,mpost in C:\context\tex\texmf\web2c\texmf.cnf Please find attached the file log (kk.log). Thanks in advance.

Thank you. I check it, and you are right. I forgot to include the definitions when I cut and paste that part of the code. I thought the problem was related to the btex command, but it's not. The first line is: u=1.000mm; linecap:=butt; linejoin:=mitered; path pp; picture pic; labeloffset:=0; I compared it with your code. The "numeric u;" definition is missing in my file. I have included it and now it works!! It's really weird since I compiled it in 2009 and it worked as is. I still have the pdf output file...??
