Hi, I run into trouble with mkiv (ConTeXt ver: 2012.05.30 11:26 MKIV fmt: 2012.7.7 int: english/english). A small example: \starttext \def\c#1#2{\halign{##\hfil&##\cr\bf#1&\quad#2\cr}} \c{11}{this} \stoptext gives and error: ! Only one # is allowed per tab. This runs error-free under mkii (pdftex, xetex), plain tex (luatex, xetex), latex (luatex) etc. Would someone comment? Thank you, Eythan

change caption position temporarily

Hello, Is it possible to set the caption position for some images to another position than the one defined in \setupcations ? The standard in my document is location=bottom but for some images I'd prefer =right. Regards, Jan

math: diagonal dots

Dear all, It seems that the \ddots in "modern" is mapped to the wrong Symbol: %%%%%%%%%%%%% \setupbodyfont[modern,12pt] \starttext $\ddots$ \stoptext %%%%%%%%%%%%% System: ConTeXt ver: 2012.07.10 09:52 MKIV result: three dots from bottom left to top right (corresponds to \iddots (which btw. does not exist in context, as it seems)) expected result: three dots from top left to bottom right Seems just to be the case for "modern". PDF Preview Image

Hey list, Many different desktop environments display the first page of a PDF as the file's "thumbnail" image. Is there any way to customize what is used as the preview image for a PDF with ConTeXt? adjust width of text automatically

Hi, Is it possible to place one box beside another, both with the same height, one box with an image of unknown width, and the other uses the remaining width. Hi, I want to indent a block of text to the right by the width of some other short text: --8<---------------cut here---------------start------------->8--- \starttext \framed[height=5cm, offset=0pt, strut=no, frame=off]{% Bla:~\framed[location=top, align=flushleft, height=max, offset=pt, frame=off]{% This text is indented to the right by the amount of the width of \quote{Bla:~}. Can this be done better? \vfill \rightaligned{At the bottom of the outer box.}}} \stoptext --8<---------------cut here---------------end--------------->8--- Any hints, how to do this in a cleaner way? linenumbering

OK, here's another one. I want a start/stop pair that will take as an argument a key-value to set the beginning of the line numbering. So here's my example: \def\startnumberedblockquote {\dosingleempty\dostartnumberedblockquote} \def\dostartnumberedblockquote[#1]% {\getrawparameters[numberedblockquote][start=1,#1]% \blank[line]% \begingroup \setupindenting[no]% \setuplinenumbering[location=text] \startlinenumbering[width=1cm][\numberedblockquotestart]} \def\stopnumberedblockquote {\stoplinenumbering \endgroup \blank[line]} \starttext \startnumberedblockquote[start=3] \input knuth \stopnumberedblockquote \stoptext This works with 2012.06.30 12:32, but not with 2012.07.07 15:04.
