Hi together, what is wrong with the following shortexample? ++++++++++++++++++++++++ \setupheadertexts [] [{\cap\getmarking[chapter]}] [][] \starttext \startchapter[ title={Long long long title, it is indeed}, marking = {Shorter Title}, ] \stopchapter \stoptext ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ The getmarking in setupheadertexts seems to be ignored, why? Maybe "marking" is the wrong attribute? Thanks, Huseyin

Problem with local installation - MKIV- register

Hello, I have a problem with a using a register in my local installation (MKIV). The minimal example works on contextgarden. Visualcounter: style parameter not working as expected

Hi all, I'm actually using the visualcounter module for a presentation and I can't modify the style of the page number inside the countdown counter. The documentation let me think the 'style' parameter should do the job but it doesn't seem to work. Unusual error in Math mode

Hello Everyone, \starttext $ E [ w ] = 1 $ \stoptext produces Eaw]=1 using my context (current version: 2013.03.29 01:03). Needless to say that the MWE works as expected on the Context live @ contextgarden. I have no clue as to how to go about debugging the problem. So did a fresh install in a different directory but still get exactly the same result. I will be grateful for any suggestions on how to identify the problem in my context installation. -- Cheers, Devendra

start page numbering in MKIV

The command \setuppagenumber[number=3,state=start] seems not to work under MKIV. Here is the sequence: \setuppagenumber[number=3,state=start] \completecontent \chapter[Introduction} but Chapter 1 Introduction is shown in the TOC with page 3. setuphead and Table of Content

Hello everyone, I have defined my own set of heads with \setuphead like so, such that I can supply my own numbers: \definehead[foosection][section] \setuphead[foosection][number=yes, ownnumber=yes, sectionsegments=section] However, I need them to show up in the table of content. eliminate blank page.

OK I am trying to be a good boy and use \component instead of \input in MKIV but my problem persists. I have a file called title.tex which should be followed on the next page (title verso) by the file copy.tex. but a blank page occurs between the two. error calling font.getfont() on certain fonts

Hi all, I get an error when I run this code: \ctxlua{font.getfont( font.current() )} (Complete example below.) Oddly, whether or not this fails depends on the font. The issue does occur with both today’s beta and Tex Live. The error message is error: .../context/tex/texmf-context/tex/context/base/node-inj.lua:97: attempt to perform arithmetic on local 'factor' (a nil value) At the same time, in Plain the equivalent code works fine for all fonts. Bug or feature?
