issue with OT feature in LMTX

Dear list, I have the following sample (using current latest from 2022.12.01 13:05): \definefallbackfamily[mainface][rm][Noto Emoji] [range={0x1F004-0xFE837}, force=yes] \definefontfamily[mainface][rm][TeX Gyre Pagella] \setupbodyfont[mainface] \definestructureconversionset [sectionnumbers] [0,n,Characters,g,n] [n] \definefontfeature[section] [smcp=yes, c2sc=yes] \setupheads[sectionconversionset=sectionnumbers] \setuphead[section][style={\feature[+][section]}] \starttext \section{Just text} {\feature[+][section]Just text} \stoptext LMTX outputs no small caps and it fallbacks to Noto Emoji. LuaTeX gives the right output. Am I missing something or have I hit a bug in LMTX? Many thanks for your help, Pablo

accessing ital axis in variable font

Dear list, using the Literata variable fonts from https://github.com/googlefonts/literata/tree/main/fonts/variable, I have the following source: \definefontfeature[myaxis][axis={weight=500, italic=1}] \definefontfamily[mainface][rm][Literata][features={default, myaxis}] \setupbodyfont[mainface] \starttext \input zapf\par \it\input zapf \stoptext Other axes than weight (and only when not invoked as 'wght') don’t work for me (using latest from 2022.12.01 13:05). I have used the following source (it seems to be a goodie from current latest): \usemodule[fonts-variable] \starttext \showfontvariations[font=file:literata-italic.ttf] \showfontvariations[font=file:literata.ttf] \stoptext It reports that the Literata fonts have three (design) axes: wght, opsz and ital. ital is only a design axis. As explained before, they don’t work for me. How can I access to the italic and the optical size axes? Many thanks for your help, Pablo

Can I use \starthangaround?

\starthangaround is mentioned in these context garden wiki pages: https://wiki.contextgarden.net/CD_Booklet https://wiki.contextgarden.net/Unexpected_behavior When I try to use examples from these pages I get an error that \starthangaround is undefined. It isn’t in any of my context installation files, including cont-new.tex. I'm using LMTX, installed a few days ago. Is it possible for me to use \starthangaround ? Peter Hopcroft
