How to stop enumerated tabulate environments from shifting to the right?

When I place a tabulate environment inside itemize, it indents and the entire table is shifted to the right about 1/2". \starttext \input knuth \startitemize[n] \item x \stopitemize \startitemize[n] \starttabulate[|lp(.1\textwidth)|cp(.35\textwidth)|cp(.2\textwidth)|cp(.35\textwidth)|] \NI \NC \NC \NC\NR \NC \NC \NC \NC\NR \stoptabulate \stopitemize \input knuth\stoptext See this code which when compiled, the first itemize numbers line up with the left edge of text, but the one with tables indents. It also seems to spill into the right margin. How can I stop enumerated table environments from indenting? --Joel

LMTX: reimplementing texquotes as OTF feature

Hi, as Hans recommended in the last video meeting, I tried to implement the texquotes feature using OTF features, and hit two problems: 1) To support German quotes as well, I have two ligatures that end up as the same glyph: `` -> “ "' -> “ This can't be in the same ligature feature, as it will overwrite the table entry with a duplicate key. After some fiddling, I decided to map "' to a Unicode PUA symbol and then add a second feature that maps this symbol to “ using the substitute feature. This works for TeX Gyre Schola. how to simulate \hss in luametatex?

Hi list, I want to simulate \hss in lua end in ConTeXt/luametatex environment. Page break with placement of a figure at the bottom of the page

Hi, I find that for some time (but maybe the problem comes from me !), the placement of a figure at the bottom of the page causes a page break when it seems to me that there is enough space, which poses some problems in the pagination of my documents. New VSCode extenstion using ConTeXt Language server

Hello All, I have published the new VSCode Extension for ConTeXt, that I presented during the 2022 ConTeXt meeting - https://wiki.contextgarden.net/VSCode You can install it manually in the VSCode (using the "Install from VSIX..." option). Documentation (for now) - https://meeting.contextgarden.net/2022/talks/ramkumar/ramkumar-talk.pdf This supports ConTeXt markup and for any Lua code (within \startluacode & \stopluacode) it re-directs to the Lua Language Server (from Sumneko - https://github.com/sumneko/lua-language-server ) To Do - 1. Make the source code open-source 2. Add new features (like Hover & Tooltip) 3. Work with Taco to add MetaPost Language Server (this could be challenging and interesting) Do give this a try and give your feedback. overprinting black

I’m not sure if this ever worked, but at least in latest LMTX it doesn’t: """ \setupcolors[state=start,cmyk=yes,rgb=no,intent=overprint] \starttext \framed[ background=color, backgroundcolor=yellow, ]{\ss\bfd Black should always overprint. } \stoptext """ The black text and frame border don’t overprint the yellow background but knockout. The only way to check this (that I know of) is Acrobat Pro’s separation simulation; the screenshot shows a snippet of the yellow separation. Actually, setting “overprint” for all colors doesn’t make sense, it should be a setting for single color (but default for black): % desired interface: \definecolor[overBlack][k=1,intent=overprint] Hraban

problem with Segoe Ui Symbol as fallback font

I’d like to set Segoe UI Symbol as fallback for all missing glyphs. But it doesn’t work, I get an error like registered function call [1145]: ...-14/tex/texmf-context/tex/context/base/mkxl/math-act.lmt:2339: attempt to perform arithmetic on a nil value (field 'depth') stack ... even if there’s no fallback enabled for the math font. \definefontfallback[segoeFB] [name:segoeuisymbol] [0x00300-0x003FF,0x02100-0x02800] [check=yes,force=no] That used to work, at least until version 2022-09-18. It’s completely irregular which ranges throw an error: 0x03000-0x20000 runs 0x02000-0x03000 doesn’t 0x02200-0x027FF doesn’t And the fallbacks also don’t work, even if there’s no error. It seems to depend on the font – I get errors with Segoe UI Symbol, but not with EmojiOneColor or Symbola. I checked with font versions 5.0 and 5.01, don’t have newer ones. Does it work with current versions? Also, a list of fallbacks doesn’t work (I’d like to replace single characters from different fonts); is it supposed to? test file attached. Hraban
