Disappearing characters with nolig-german-wordlist

Hi, I do as adviced on the Wiki and input the nolig-german-wordlist.tex to suppress wrong ligatures. However, I'm seeing strange results: ``` \input nolig-german-wordlist.tex \starttext auffasste auffasse \stoptext ``` gives me "auffasse auffasse" (see attachment.) I don't really understand what is happening here. Why is the t disappearing. ``` \replaceword[eka][auffasse][au{ff}asse] \replaceword[eka][auffasste][au{ff}asste] \setreplacements[eka] \starttext auffasste auffasse \stoptext ``` This example gives correct results. playing with Windows drag & drop

Dear list, I have a minimal sample file: \starttext \insertpages[\env{PDFdocument}] \stoptext I invoke it in Windows, using the following batch file: @echo off REM ~ context --purgeall --arguments="PDFdocument=%1" b.tex I’m afraid it only works if the batch file and the PDF document are on the same directory. Sections in content: macros v text

Hi all, the content generated by the MWE below contains 1 bb ... 1 2 bb ... 1 instead of 1 aa ... 1 2 bb ... 1 because the content structure refers to the macro name \name in both sections instead of to work with the text. Maybe it was already discussed by I am not able to find any solution how to send the text "aa" to the content in this case. Thanks in advance for any hint. xml bookmarks

Hello to everybody! I have a similar problem as Tomas two days ago. When inserting bookmarks from XML the reference to the node is stored in TUC file ["titledata"]={ ["label"]="section", ["title"]="\\xmlatt {xml:name::4}{title}" and this reference ends up in bookmarks. Any advice on how to change it to text in bookmarks? Find attached MWE (mkiv, current beta), third section is inserted manually. Thank you, Jano

wrong url border (LMTX only)

Dear list, I have the following sample: \setupinteraction[state=start] \enabledirectives[references.border] \definemakeup[slide] \define[1]\newurl{\goto{\tt\hyphenatedurl{#1}}[url(#1)]} \starttext \startmakeup[slide]\newurl{a}\stopmakeup \stoptext LMTX (latest from LuaTeX 2.07 20200920 + ConTeXt MkIV 2020.09.20 23:02) generates a link border that goes to the end of the text width. I have found this issue not only with makeups. Also some footnotes in my documents, but I couldn’t provide a minimal sample that displays the problem with those. Could anyone confirm this issue? URLs in XML, escaping special characters

Hi, I'm struggling with getting hyphenated URLs to work from XML input. How do you enter ampersands and percent signs correctly so that they can be used in links? Citeproc

Hi, John MacFarlane, the developper of Pandoc, has released a new Citeproc that generates citations and bibliographies using CSL style files (CSL= citation style language). While it is written in Haskell and while it's primarily intended for use with Pandoc, it can also be used in other contexts. Provided with a JSON encoded list of references via stdin, it can produce formatted output. I know that ConTeXt has its own infrastructure to format bibliographies and citations, but, given the enormous amount of available styles in CSL, I nevertheless think that this could be a worthwile addition. What would be necessary to make such a toll usable with ConTeXt? How complicated would that be? Best, Denis

Postponed footnotes and pagebreaks

Hi, postponing footnotes when using tables causes the footnote often to appear on the next page, which may not always be wanted. Is there a way to keep the footnote on the same page in these situations? Best, Denis

solution to suppressing header in ToC

Hi list, I am offering the solution I found for myself for suppressing headers in a multipage Table of Contents, after trying a number of other unsuccessful approaches. My solution may be useful for others, but it may also be that, while it works, there may be even better solutions that someone wishes to offer. The problem was that \definehead [tochead] [title] \starttochead[title={Contents}] \setupheader[state=stop] \placecombinedlist[content] \stoptochead was giving me headers on the second and third pages of the ToC, and my publisher did not want those headers to appear, but did want page numbers still. A successful solution is: \starttochead[title={Contents}] \setupheader[state=stop] \placecombinedlist[content] \stoptochead and then, after, the first full text page, to put: \starttitle[title={Acknowledgments}] \setupheader[state=empty] If I had state=normal, it gave me a header on the first page of 'Acknowledgements'. but state=empty gave me what I needed in this case.
