Reference links with focus=standard option

Hi mailing list, I'm having some trouble with (interactive) references. I had a quick search of the mailing list and couldn't find any talk about this kind of issue, so I'm asking now. Hoping you could help me out. Consider the following example document. \setupinteraction [ state=start, % focus=standard, ] \starttext \startchapter[title=Some Title, reference=pt:ref] Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, \periods \startplaceformula[reference=eq:ref] \startformula c^2 = a^2 + b^2. \stopformula \stopplaceformula Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, \periods \startitemize[r] \startitem[it:ref] Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, \periods \stopitem \stopitemize And now we can refer to formula~\in[eq:ref], chapter~\in[pt:ref], and item~\in[it:ref]. \page And now we can refer to formula~\in[eq:ref], chapter~\in[pt:ref], and item~\in[it:ref]. \stopchapter \stoptext All is well with the default setting for focus. I don't like that with most (?) PDF viewers the default setting changes the zoom level, so I usually turn on \setupinteraction[focus=standard] instead. But this seems to break (some of) the interactive links. The links to the the chapter and item still work, but the links to the formula are broken. As an experiment, I just tried this with a couple different viewers (Firefox, Evince, Okular, Xpdf, Qpdfview) and (putting \setupinteraction[focus=standard] back in) the link is indeed broken on all of them, /except/ for Qpdfview which still seems to understand it. \ifcase changes default align in xtables

Dear list, I have the following sample: \setupxtable[mytable] [option={stretch, height}, align={\ifcase\currentxtablerow\fi}] \starttext \startxtable[mytable] \startxrow \startxcell 1 \stopxcell \startxcell 2 \stopxcell \stopxrow \startxrow \startxcell 3 \stopxcell \startxcell 4 \stopxcell \stopxrow \stopxtable \startxtable[option={stretch, height}] \startxrow \startxcell 1 \stopxcell \startxcell 2 \stopxcell \stopxrow \startxrow \startxcell 3 \stopxcell \startxcell 4 \stopxcell \stopxrow \stopxtable \stoptext For some strange reason, when using \ifcase in align, default is changed from {high, left} to {lohi, center}. conditional format in xtables

Dear list, thanks to Wolfgang, I learnt to set conditional format in xtables, such as in: \setupxtable [foregroundcolor={\ifnum\currentxtablecolumn=2 red\else green\fi}] \starttext \startxtable \startxrow \startxcell one \stopxcell \startxcell two \stopxcell \startxcell tree \stopxcell \startxcell four \stopxcell \stopxrow \stopxtable \stoptext My question is whether I can use ConTeXt conditionals instead of the ones from TeX. {\doifelse{\currentxtablecolumn}{2}{red}{green}} doesn’t work here. Math kerning broken in latest beta

Dear list, The math kerning seems to be broken in recent versions of LuaTeX. When I process the MWE below with TeX Live 2017 (LuaTeX 1.0.4) I get a different result from the latest beta (LuaTeX 1.07.0). However, I could only observe this behaviour with some fonts, e.g. stixtwo or lucidaot. No difference was encountered for modern and xits. xmlrefatt

There is a slight restriction on \xmlrefatt that makes its use problematic, because it does not differentiate between an absent attribute and an attribute consisting of an empty string. The use for \xmlrefatt I had in mind was (a) do nothing if the attribute is absent, and (b) reset some value to its default value when the attribute is present but an empty string. Is it an option that its implementation is changed? A boolean return value will be fine, because false then can signify the attribute’s absence and true its presence. In the latter case it is safe to retrieve the attribute which then might be an empty string. Summarizing: the fact that \xmlrefatt tries to do two different things at the same time (signalling presence/absence) and returning an attribute, in a certain sense cripples its use. dr. how to change the colour of the footnote marker

Today I wanted to print an entire document not in standard black, but in blue. I added (Mk II) – \setupcolors [state=start] \define\kleur{blue} % so I can change the colour uniformly everywhere through this variable \startcolor [\kleur] \setupnote[footnote][before={\color[\kleur]}] \setupfooter [color=\kleur] – and everything becomes blue, but NOT the footnote number before the footnote itself at the bottom of the page (the marker in the main text is coloured the way I want). Can anyone tell me how to change the colour of the footnote number in the note? Robert

Text overflowing on a figure included in a float

Macro to write the euro symbol

\blank shrinks when forced; why \blank[line,disable] and \blank[line]\blank[disable] are different?

Hello list, i'm trying to understand the \blank command. The following example leaves a blank line between the two lines of text. \showgrid \starttext A line.\par \blank[line] Another line.\par \stoptext When you add "force" to the blank, the vertical space between the two lines shrinks. You can also add "fixed", but nothing changes. \showgrid \starttext A line.\par \blank[line,force] Another line.\par \stoptext Wolfgang asked about this in 2015(https://www.mail-archive.com/ntg-cont ext(a)ntg.nl/msg77729.html), but i could not find any answer on the mailing list. The next doubt is about the "disable" option. In the following example, \blank[2*line] wins over \blank[line] because it's bigger, and you get a vertical space of 2 lines between the 2 lines of text. \showgrid \starttext A line.\par \blank[line]\blank[2*line] Another line.\par \stoptext Then add "disable" to the first blank to cancel the next one: \showgrid \starttext A line.\par \blank[line,disable]\blank[2*line] Another line.\par \stoptext I expected a vertical space of 1 line, instead there's none. Why? Conversely, this disables the second \blank, as you would expect: \showgrid \starttext A line.\par \blank[line]\blank[disable]\blank[2*line] Another line.\par \stoptext Best greetings, Massimiliano
