Hi, I'm starting a presentation with ConTeXt. I'd like to visually differentiate each section, so I've come up with two complementary approaches to do that: * Use a different color palette for each section, and * Mark the progress bar to indicate the start of each section. I've done an small example (at the end) but: * Last Subject of a Topic take color from next Topic. (e.g. "Some greenB") * I don't like interactionBar styles provided. I'd like something like: |-----|-|-----|--|------ (horizontal line and a vertical line at the begin of each section and a vertical line of different color for current position) other option I like: ######%%@@@@@@HHH&&&&&&& (each letter represents a color. It's a bar with colors marking size of text. So it's a series of color rectangles with colors for each section and a vertical line for current position) The main problems are: * How can I pass the first page of each section to MetaPost? * How can I protect background color of SomeGreenB to be green and not blue? Django: using ConTeXT mkiv to output PDF

i have a small Django app <https://bitbucket.org/kaddourkardio/kardiology> to manage my patients data, and use LaTeX to output reports. It consists un a *parent* model called Patients and child models Consultation , StressEcho and so on. \setvariables and database module

Hi all, I need to create a document using a database and the \setvariables command (which I understood thanks to Wolfgang Schuster). Everything works fine except that using the approach below I need to change the entries in the database by enclosing each entry between a pair of braces {}, because otherwise the macro I have imagined does not work as expected. In the example below the first line of entries is treated correctly, while the second one is understood wrongly by my macro \maketalk defined below in the minimal example. It is indeed possible, in theory, to change the database file so that each entry is enclosed in a pair of braces, but I would like to avoid that mainly because I am not the one who produces nor maintains that file and I want to avoid modifying a copy of that file myself. How can I change my approach to this problem in order to achieve what is needed? Many thanks for any hint.
