definenote and localfootnotes

Hi, I'm not sure if this is a bug or feature, but I noticed that custom footnotes defined through \definenote do not appear when using \placelocalfootnotes as per the following example: %-------------------------------------------- \setuppapersize [A5] \definenote [noteone] [footnote] \setupnotation [noteone] [style=bold, headstyle=bold] \setupnote [noteone] [textstyle=bold] \starttext \startlocalfootnotes Testing footnote \footnote{this is a footnote} Testing noteone \noteone{this is noteone} \placelocalfootnotes \stoplocalfootnotes Testing footnote \footnote{this is a footnote} Testing noteone \noteone{this is noteone} \stoptext %-------------------------------------------- Both the local and global footnotes appear as 1, 2 (so noteone is numbered locally). Is there an alternative command to \placelocalfootnotes that I can use to make noteone appear in the local context? Thanks, Stan

Extend is indented after section (2nd try)

[This is a second try at sending this message, after I got the not that I'm on the mailing list now.] Hello, When I'm using an exdent after a section command, the first line of the exdented paragraph is indented, instead of exdented. Here's an example: ================================= \definestartstop [exdent] [before={\startnarrower[left]\setupindenting[-\leftskip,yes]}, after=\stopnarrower] \starttext \startcolumns[n=2] \section{Heading 1} Some text. \startexdent This sentence needs to be long enough to wrap at least once. This sentence needs to be long enough to wrap at least once. \stopexdent \section{Heading 2} \startexdent This sentence needs to be long enough to wrap at least once. This sentence needs to be long enough to wrap at least once. \stopexdent \stoptext ================================= The paragraph after "Heading 2" is indented. If I delete the text "Some text." after "Heading 1", the exdented paragraph is is also indented instead of exdented. What can I do to prevent this? -- T. Question about index

Dear friends. I want to ask you a question, although I do not know if it has been resolved on the mailing list. I think I have formulated it already, but I do not remember well. Can I make an index (of words or passages, authors, etc.), that refer to chapter, section, subsection, instead of referring to the page number? If so, how? Thanks very much and greetings. bug in latest beta?

Hans, I have tried to update the ConTeXt Suite to latest beta and I got the following message: $ ./first-setup.sh --modules=all receiving incremental file list sent 29 bytes received 155 bytes 122.67 bytes/sec total size is 8,660,630 speedup is 47,068.64 ./bin/mtxrun:5878: attempt to call local 'ln' (a nil value) I think there may be a bug there. Tabulate containing high element

Hello, how to make tabulate row "aware" of some content of some "bigger" height? In the following sample: ---- \starttext \starttabulate[|pd(.4\textwidth)|p|] \HL \NC \framed[location=top,width=1in,height=1in]{Abc} \VL Def \NC\NR \HL \stoptabulate \stoptext ---- content of the \framed flows out of the height of the first row; I'd like the first row to have height of the highest element (here: the \framed - be 1 in).
