Problem with definelabel and footnotes

I have a document with hundreds of labels generated by \definelabel. They are used to index quotations in the text. Some of these occur in notes. Previously I had all such notes at the end of the book, as endnotes, but an editor requested a version with the notes as traditional footnotes. When the notes with labels appear in footnotes, the labels are not printed. The MWE below demonstrates the problem. I would expect to see a red 2 at the end of the first line of the footnote. I have tried to use \defineenumeration instead of \definelabel, but I cannot get a comparable result to what I have with definelabel. Module for Markdown: any volunteer to make a ConTeXt interface?

Hi, There's a really nice module for processing markdown: https://github.com/Witiko/markdown that has been presented during the TUG meeting and is included in TeX Live. It theoretically works for ConTeXt (the output is perfectly usable), but it needs a cleanup of the user interface to turn the options on and off. For example, it would be nice to use something like \setupmarkdown [fencedCode=true] rather than \def\markdownOptionFencedCode{true} Is anyone willing to look into the code and help the author fix the interface? (I can add it to our distribution if needed.) Mojca

complete cut marks

Hans, I have the following sample: \setuppapersize[A5][A4] \setuplayout [marking=on] \setupexternalfigure[location=default] \setuppagenumbering[location=] \starttext \externalfigure[cow][width=\textwidth] \stoptext These cut marks are lost after the first cut. Would it be possible to have a marking=crossed such as the one proposed in the attachment? (BTW, I added them by hand with Inkscape, this is why they look awful.) Modern CV like cover letter example

Hi all, I am using a Makefile to call context on a XML-file. With older versions of context I could build the PDF in a special targetdir defined in the Makefile. 'lua.registercode' bug in latest beta

Hi, Using '\ctxloadluafile' can get an error: ``` ..ext/tex/texmf-context/tex/context/base/mkiv/luat-cod.lua:50: bad argument #1 to 'gmatch' (string expected, got nil) ``` It seems to be caused by 'if options ~= ""' in `lua.registercode'. definefallbackfamily and uppercasedoublestruck not working?

Hi! I use the Neo Euler which has no doublestruck characters. Maybe I use old code, but I really think that the following has worked before: %%% \definefontfamily [mainface] [rm] [TeX Gyre Pagella] \definefallbackfamily [mainface] [mm] [TeX Gyre Pagella Math][range=uppercasedoublestruck] \definefontfamily [mainface] [mm] [Neo Euler] \setupbodyfont[mainface,12pt] \starttext \startTEXpage[offset=3pt] Test: $\blackboard C$ or $\mathbb C$ \switchtobodyfont[pagella] Test: $\blackboard C$ or $\mathbb C$ \stopTEXpage \stoptex %%% I would expect doublestruck letters in the output on the first line. extreme tables cell spanning interference: a bug?

Dear list, i've found that a cell spanning across multiple rows in extreme tables interferes with a cell spanning across multiple columns on a common row. Ok, if that is not so clear, try this: ---------------------------- \starttext The first cell spans across 3 rows. I would like to reproduce the Hans Hagen candle with the propose of illustration a "flame test" chemistry activity. Adjust rendering of BibTeX entries

Dear list, I would like to render BibTeX-entries with the provided APA-style, however, in the text use superscript cross references. I have the following issues, which I don't know how to resolve. I was hoping, you could help me. 1. When choosing the style APA, the change to \setupcite seems to be ignored, see the minimal example below. (When changing alternative=apa back to alternative=ams, it works again.) 2. As I am citing bibliography entries with numbers, adding letters to the end of the publication years makes no sense. How can I loose the letters? Now, also the provided AMS-style adds these letters, which I don't think should be the case, too. 3. The edition field when citing a book is rendered wrong. It should be 7th edition followed by a period. (Compare this with the ams-style, where the edition field is rendered correctly.) How can I add the period and automatically add the st, nd, rd, th to a edition number? 4. Say, I would revert back to AMS-style but using superscripts rather than the [#Number] default. How can I loose the square brackets in the reference section? Thank you very much in advance.
