Dear Mikael, I didn’t see any problem which you mentioned when I run it under the ConTeXt version 2016.10. 6 MKIV beta. But I saw a change the vertical space when I run it under ConTeXt version 2016. 12. 28 MKIV beta after updated the bata. I tested in several ways and found that the vertical space is narrow only in the following case: Bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla % \startformula k>1000\implies |1/k-0|=1/k<1/1000=0.001. \stopformula Bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla If I remove either “%” or the formula, then the output looks fine. As Otaired said it is better to open a new thread. Dear list, please have a look at the output (ctx-example13.pdf) of the somewhat ugly example below. The vertical space before the paragraph with the displayed formula is almost none. If I remove the % signs before and after the formula, the space before the paragraph looks ok. Do I have to enter those empty lines? Is this a bug or feature? scancsv module and lua

Dear sirs, In my project I need to format some data from a csv file. The csv file is scanned using the scancsv module and part of this information is formatted inside luacode environment, but the text.print("") and the context("") functions don´t be able to send the formatted data to the output. The result is a empty pdf. The example attached is from a old question. But in specific context in which this problem affects me, this solution breaks many things: There are many *MPinclusions with as many MPinstances (so variables from one instance don't contaminate another). (here's that place: https://github.com/jemmybutton/byrne-euclid/blob/master/preamble.tex#L30) If this is indeed a bug and it's going to be fixed one day, I'll go with some less invasive hack to overcome it, but if this behaviour is correct, I'll try to rewrite everything accordingly. Or I got it wrong and *MPinitializations can substitute for *MPinclusions in this case? Sergey

JPEG images resolution and externalfigure size

Hi, When using the currently latest version of ConTeXt to include a JPEG image as in the MWE below, the resulting image size in the PDF is half the size when compared with earlier versions. \setupexternalfigures[location={local,global,default}] \starttext \externalfigure[hacker.jpg][scale=1000] \stoptext The actual width (in the PDF) of the hacker.jpg image is: - ConTeXt version 2016.12.28: approx. 44 mm - ConTeXt version 2016.07.01: approx. 88 mm The correct width would be 86.868 mm (513 pixel / 150 DPI * 25.4). Is there a factor 2 lost somewhere? Cheers, Christoph

Bug: \textext inside \*MPinclusions causes error

Hi, i found the following bug (likely) some time ago: When \textext (or any other text generating thing like btex etex etc.) is present inside \*MPinclusions and \*MPinclusions are followed by \*MPcode ConTeXt returns error: Equation cannot be performed (color=vacuous). Minimal example would be: \startMPinclusions picture p; p := image( draw textext("Foo"); ); \stopMPinclusions \startMPcode \stopMPcode tested on http://live.contextgarden.net/

Table on two pages (natural tables)

Hello, My table does not fit on the first page that contains the title of the evaluation and I would like it to continue on the second page. I tried using the key split = yes but my table moves to the second page and there is more than the title of the first. thank you, Fabrice

'overprint' swallows leading number

rotating some pages of a pdf

I'm using the following code, rotate.tex, to rotate all the pages of file.pdf, using: context --input=file.pdf --rotation=45 rotate.pdf rotate.tex ========== \getfiguredimensions [\getdocumentargument{input}] \starttext \dorecurse{\noffigurepages} {\startTEXpage \externalfigure [\getdocumentargument{input}] [page=\recurselevel, orientation=\getdocumentargument{rotation}] \stopTEXpage} \stoptext How could I use this code to rotate, say, the page five, 7º clockwise, and the page twenty, 15º counterclockwise?
