Ah, we were thinking along the same lines! ;) I had just initiated a local install inside .../www/public when I received your email, which is in fact the DocumentRoot for this website, and did: $ chmod -R www-data:www-data context So ConTeXt is installed in .../www/public/context. Now I can source: $ . .../www/public/context/tex/setuptex .../www/public/context/tex and it all works. Many thanks, Luigi, for all of your suggestions. Latin setupmathematics

In order to align with Unicode, \setupmathematics might have Latin shape options, as the Greek ‘lcgreek’ and ‘ucgreek', say ‘lclatin' and ‘uclatin', both defaulting to ’italic’. Unicode added the Latin italic symbols to the Math Alphanumeric Symbols range, so the upright letters are inaccessible when italic is assigned to the Basic Latin (ASCII) range.

passing the \starttabulate format in XML typesetting

Hello list, I'm trying to map HTML with tabs to \starttabulate in ConTeXt. A div of class "tabulate" is mapped to a \starttabulate ... \stoptabulate section, p elements are rows and span elements of class "tab" produce \NCs in ConTeXt. That div element has a "format" attribute that must be passed to \starttabulate[...] to format the columns. defining new entries for reference in letter module

Hi! I am trying to create a custom reference line with the letter module. I would like for instance to display the typical phone and email fields and additionaly eg a not yet existing field such as mobile={12345} (or foo={bar}) At first I did not manage to have any field displayed at all but the use of setupletterlayer as described in https://mailman.ntg.nl/pipermail/ntg-context/2013/073560.html helped (seems the manual from 2010 is no longer up to date...). Unfortunately this writes the reference line with labels only for phone an email but not for mobile nor foo, The value of the parameter is writen though, so it seems I am half the way. This is what I use: \setupletter [phone={1234567890}, mobile={123456}, foo={bar}, email={taratata(a)toto.xi}] \setupletterlayer[reference][list={phone,mobile,foo,email}] Thanks a lot for any hint JFM

When I use \cite[Author:2016], the (Author, 2016) in the output is hyperlinked to the reference. But when I use \cite[Author1:2016,Author2:2015], the resulting (Author1, 2016 and Author2, 2015) is not hyperlinked. Is it possible to get hyperlinks in the latter case, too? Nicola

space between equations in mathalignment

Hello list, is there a way to modify the space between equations in mathalignment? Something like \TB in tabulate would be great. In tabulate, \TB[-3mm] i.e. lets you shrink the vertical space between two rows. Aditya spoke about that here: http://www.mail-archive.com/ntg-context%40ntg.nl/msg34316.html and the answer seems to be "no". Working example: \starttext \startformula \startmathalignment[n=1] \NC v = u + at, \NR[+] \NC d = ut + \frac{1}{2} at^2. \NR[+] \stopmathalignment \stopformula \stoptext Not working example (what I'd like) \starttext \startformula \startmathalignment[n=1] \NC v = u + at, \NR[+] \TB \NC d = ut + \frac{1}{2} at^2. \NR[+] \stopmathalignment \stopformula \stoptext I've looked at math-ali.mkiv for a place to "inject" a \blank to modify the vertical space between rows. Hi all, for a translation of poetry, I would like to have an environment which will typeset a split line in a way that the second part will be flushright - is this possible? So instead of bla bla bla bla bla I get bla bla bla bla bla if (and only if) there’s a line break. Thanks, and all best Thomas
