The text for both columns is the same paragraph. Isn’t it a bug? BTW, is there any way to force that the text before or after a \column command remains always on the same column? Problem with urls

Dear all, Can any of you explain, or, better, suggest a remedy for, the following problem: I want active urls in footnotes. With the same setups and correct urls, some of them become active and some others not. what does rscale=auto achieve?

Dear list, I have the following sample: \definefallbackfamily [mainface] [rm] [DejaVu Serif] [preset=range:cyrillic, rscale=auto] \definefallbackfamily [mainface] [rm] [GFS Didot] [preset=range:greek, rscale=auto] \definefontfamily [mainface] [rm] [TeX Gyre Termes] \setupbodyfont[mainface] \starttext \startTEXpage[offset=1em] аaα \stopTEXpage \stoptext I thought that "rscale=auto" would scale the typeface so that its x-height would match the x-height from the main typeface. I had not noticed the comma and, yes, you are right, when I remove the comma I get an active url which opens a page on the desired site but without contents. When I add the comma in the address I get the desired page. I could add this instruction to the footnote but that seems to me to be a bit odd. Issue with margin notes with stack=yes (or =continue)

Dear all, Using ConTeXt ver: 2016.05.01 09:52 MKIV beta, I see that marginal notes (using \inouter for example) are put 1 or more lines below expected when using stack= option. RTL-related bug in \startcolumns

Hello, In RTL text, I use direction=left to mirror the columns. I just noticed that surprisingly section numbering will not be correct. See the MWE below, where I get "2 First" at the top of the right column and then "1 Second" in the middle of the left column. The correct numbering should be "1 First" and "2 Second." \starttext \startcolumns[n=2,direction=left] \section{First} \input knuth \section{Second} \input ward \stopcolumns \stoptext Produced using context version 2016.04.27 10:18. xml expression error

Why is there anexpression error here? I would expect that the expression number(-10000101) evaluates to a negative number taking part in the comparsion. It looks as if the minus sign is not seen as an unary minus, while -10000101 should have be evaluated by Lua's tonumber(-10000101). relevant code snippet is: \xmlfilter{#1}{lpath[number(@date) <= number(-10000101)]/command(...) xml > lpath > error in expression: number(@date) <= number(-10000101) => expr.number((ll.at and ll.at['date'])) <= expr.number(expr.child(ll,'-')10000101) Changing number(-10000101) to -10000101 does not make a difference. The @date attribute has no problem with a negative value. Hans van der Meer

starting a chapter on odd page

Dear all, in the book I’m finishing I’m using a structure like this \starttext \input c_preface.tex \input c_chapter1.tex [etc] \stoptext where each .tex file contains \startchapter[various options] \section{First section} etc \stopchapter The publisher is asking me to start each chapter on a odd page. Can I do it by setting some options? grid and heading distance

Hello context users: I would like to use grid layout in my document. It works well but the distance between headings (section, subsection etc) and the following normal text becomes too big. How can I decrease this distance to normal, similar to non-grid layout? If I compile the document without grid layout the distance between heading and text is correct, but with grid layout it is too much, it could be one or two "line-heights" less.
