TikZ and wrong drawing order

Hi, I would like to ask for help for either finding a fix or some clever workaround for the following problem. If I use a TikZ picture as item symbol and additionally use background text, then the first symbol in itemize environment gets covered by the background. Hi, I uploaded a beta. The most significant (visible) change is in the way mp handles outlines. If you want a nice view on a font you can say: \useMPlibrary[outlines] \showshape[character=a,alternative=page] \stoptext or for a whole font: \setupbodyfont[pagella] \showshape[character=all,alternative=page] or \definedfont[almfixed] \showshape[character=all,alternative=page] Another change is a much faster reload of fonts database but as that doesn't happen often it might go unnoticed. Dear list, I have the following sample: \definefontfamily [mainface] [rm] [TeX Gyre Pagella] \definefontfamily [mainface] [tt] %~ [file:lmmonoproplt10-regular.otf] [name:lmmonoproplt10regular] \setupbodyfont [mainface] \starttext \type{monospace font} \stoptext Either by file or name, I’m not able to select the font. I get the following list from mtxrunjit: $ mtxrunjit --script font --list --file --pattern=lmmonoproplt10regular latinmodernmonoproplight light normal normal normal lmmonoproplt10regular lmmonoproplt10-regular.otf What am I doing wrong here? TikZ colors in cmyk mode broken

First page after standardmakeup gets page number 0 in table of contents

Hi, I'm experiencing a weird issue. The first page after standardmakeup ends up with page number zero in table of contents. Here's a minimal example: \setuphead [chapter] [page=odd] \setuppagenumbering [alternative=doublesided] \starttext \startstandardmakeup title page \stopstandardmakeup \chapter{first} \chapter{second} \title{TOC} \placelist[chapter,section][criterium=all,alternative=c] \stoptext This prints TOC 1 first .......... 0 2 second ......... 3 But the first chapter is on page 1. A temporary workaround was to prepare a separate document with the initial pages (and print them separately and merge the pages with an external tool), but it would be great to solve this properly. Hello, Is it possible to place a figure to the right in two column mode? Wiki page on color

Hi, I am doing a major overhaul of the wiki page on colors. The current page[1] had become tangled up with time and I think that it is better to reorganize the information. Since this is a major change, rather than simply editing the wiki page, I have created a new page[2]. Sourcemirror at gitorious is closing down, where to find it then?

Since gitorious got acquired by gitlab it will shut down its service end of May 2015 (https://about.gitlab.com/2015/03/03/gitlab-acquires-gitorious/). Where will ConTeXts source mirror be hosted then? Will it get transfered over to gitlab? Github? Bitbucket? Sourceforge? Somewhere else?

Asterisk

Hello, how to typeset "centerd asterisk" ("*") in Ctx? I mean the symbol which is used in the third level of itemization (http://wiki.contextgarden.net/Enumerations) or which can be typeset by \textasteriskcentered in LaTeX. (I cannot find the symbol definition in Ctx itemize-command definition (source files) and simple writing "\textasteriskcentered" doesn't work.) Thank you in advance. Best regards, Lukas -- Ing. Gobbled spaces after \starttyping

Hello, suppose the following code: ---- \starttext \starttyping Aaa Bbb \stoptyping \stoptext ---- It produces: " Aaa Bbb " How to force ConTeXt not to gobble spaces after \setuptyping, to get: " Aaa Bbb " i.e. to obey two blanks " " before "Aaa"?
