Overfull boxes using m-cweb

Hello, I am running into overfull boxes when including a weaved cweb file into a context document. The original reference to the cwebmac.tex file (the plain TeX macro) is commented out and replaced by \usemodule[cweb]. The cweb macros appear to expand something into \*11ptmmmt* which seems to have something to do with it. Is there anyone here with experience and deep (Con)TeX(t) knowledge who understands what is happening? (again) bug with bidi direction and \about references

Hi Hans, sorry for telling again, but I’m afraid that the following sample shows a serious buggy interaction between \setupdirections[bidi=on] and \about references. \setupdirections[bidi=on] \starttext \section[sectionone]{Section one} As said in \dorecurse{5} {\about[sectionone]\footnote{Body reference misplaced.}, } \stoptext Both \about and footnote references in body are misplaced. authors in the toc

Dear all, as I’m working on a book that is a collection of essays by various authors, I need their names in the toc. I’m using mkiv and the command start chapter, in the first argument specifying the author param. I’ve explored the wiki (http://wiki.contextgarden.net/Table_of_Contents) but I don’t get it. Can anyone provide some hints? mkiv and lettrine

I am using lettrine in mkii. I am trying to convert a project to mkiv. I’d like to use lettrine here too. \usemodule[lettrine] \setuplettrine[Lines=3, Hang=.5, Oversize=0, Raise=0, Findent=0pt, Nindent=0em, Slope=0em, Ante=, FontHook=, TextFont=\sc, Image=no] \lettrine{S}{\kap{\bf uppose we}} have a system What do I have to change for mkiv?

\setupcaptions question

I want to use `numberstopper' for figure caption customization like so: \setupcaptions[numberstopper={:}] this works fine for the caption itself (i.e. I get, e.g. "Figure 1: caption text") _but_ references to the figure via a defined label such as [fig:example] in the body text do include the numberstopper, too, which is highly undesirable in my view, since, e.g., "... see Figure 1: for an example. ..." should rather read "... see Figure 1 for an example. ..." i.e. the numberstopper should be omitted (at least optionally) when referencing. question: how can this be achieved? thx/j

Get rid of caption on an intermezzo.

I managed after many trips to the Wiki to get a text frame pretty much as I want it, with text wrapping around and so on. But the technique requires using an intermezzo as a wrapper. This feature always puts a title like "intermezzo 1" at the bottom. How do I get rid of this title? siunitx feature in unit module

Hi, with siunitx LaTeX package its possible to obtain physics units like m/s printed in different way changing one option: e.g. \si{\metre\per\second} produce ms^{-1} \si[per-mode=symbol]{\metre\per\second} produce m/s \si[per-mode=fraction]{\metre\per\second} produce \frac{m}{s} have the unit module the same feature? If yes how can obtain the effect (I didn't find nothing on the manual)? Thank you for help -- Andrea De Michele

Incompatibility catcodes of characters in ConTeXt and PlainTeX

Hello ConTeXist. Petr Olsak (maintainer of Czech/Slovak support for TeX) helped me with simple typing of sign charts. He made a PlainTeX macro who is working too in ConTeXt (see http://tex.stackexchange.com/questions/230273/typing-of-math-sign-charts) Petr Olsak (not ConTeXt even LaTeX user) was modified PlainTeX macro to work in ConTeXt and asked the question: "Does anybody know why ConTeXt sets catcode of & to 12? This means that it is incompatible with plain TeX". May I therefore ask , what is the reason that has character & catcode other than in Knuth PlainTeX? There are catcodes of other characters incompatible? Thanx Jaroslav Hajtmar
