Section in golden ratio?

Hello, I'm trying to setup section to be placed vertically in the golden ratio of the page, i.e. cca 2 "units" above the section and 3 "units" bellow. How to achieve this? My code so far is: ---- \setuplayout[page] \define\bef{\page\hbox to\textheight\bgroup\vfill\vfill\fi} \define\aft{\vfill\vfill\vfill\egroup} \setuphead[section] [before=\bef,after=\aft, %commandbefore=\cbef,commandafter=\caft, alternative=middle, ] \starttext \section{AAA} \stoptext ---- The position is quite OK, but there is error "Too many }'s ..." during compilation... \showsetup not working?

Dear list, I think I have used once or twice in the past, but has \showsetup been deprecated? When I try to compile: \starttext \showsetup{language} \stoptext I get: ! Undefined control sequence. Is there a replacement for \showsetup. Many thanks for your help, Pablo -- http://www.ousia.tk

nasty crash

A nasty crash occurs with no helpful output in the log. It seems likely to arise from a complicated hbox, because the log ends abruptly in: \hbox(80.33+74.07002)x426.78 The output on the console isn't helpful either, I merely get: pages > flushing realpage 12, userpage 8 mtx-context | fatal error: no return code, message: luatex: execution interrupted This log message isn't closed with a newline. Of course I tried to construct a minimal example, but did not succeed. When I isolate the page where the execution crashes then no error occurs. It might be something in ConTeXt, but also something in luatex. Any idea how I can collect more information for trying to pinpoint the problem? Hans van der Meer

PdfXChange Viewer (slightly related to "Overriding pdfview")

Hello, as I saw many pdf viewers being supported by "--autopdf=...", there is one more (my favourite; Windows) - basic version is free but powerful, fast, keeps last view for each document; allows auto-reopen lately opened docs; enables copy-to-clipboard (text/image); annotations; allows simply open the document with all other installed pdf viewers; bookmarks; page thums; layers; attached files; many printing opts including n x m pages per sheet; ... http://www.tracker-software.com/product/pdf-xchange-viewer It might be good to support this viewer, too, for completeness. Command line options (copied form the manual): " Command Line option The PDF-XChange Viewer may be started with a PDF file or URL name as the first item on the command line. This facilitates starting the Viewer in File Associations or using Windows ShellExecute. Exactly what I was thinking: pavneet@darjiling:~$ more .mailcap application/pdf; evince %s I like evince because it also doesn't lock the PDF file, and auto-refreshes the view when updated. It also has/can have a space efficient toolbar structure, which works great on my little netbook: Asus EEE 701 running Bodhi Linux off an SD card---my favourite writing environment by far. So no wrapper needed except for first invocation which puts evince in the background.
