Hi, I am trying to define the different variants of the Roboto font ([1] for sans and [2][3][4][5] for serif). Now I am trying to define this for context but I have no idea how to define the condensed versions (plus how to access it later). And how do I enter and access the different weights next to regular and bold (light, thin, heavy)? And how to define the weight light as default (instead of regular)? linenumbering in columnsets (or different solution?)

Hi, I want a document with two columns; left column is poetry, so I want the lines to be numbered. Unfortunately, linenumbering doesn't appear to work in columns(ets), so my next attempt was to produce a third, very narrow column which displays the line numbers. However, columnsets with different columns is not implemented in mkiv, AFAICS. Chapter number in list colored (setuplist)

Hi, I want to color the chapter number in the table of content. The attribute "numbercolor" does not exist in setuplist. So I tried to color the chapter number via "numberstlye" ("numbercommand" is also not working): ---8<---------------------------- \define[1]\listChapterColor{\color[bordeaux]{X #1}} \setuplist[chapter][color=black,numberstyle=\listChapterColor] ----8<------------------------------ The X appears in the new color (bordeaux), but the chapter number is still uncolored - same color like rest of that line (black). What am I doing wrong here? H.

[util-jsn] incorrect handling of escapes

Hi, the JSON parser handles backslash escapes improperly. Example: local data = [[ { "escapes" : "(\")(\\)(\b)(\f)(\n)(\r)(\t)", "invalid" : "\'\v" } ]] local stuff = utilities.json.tolua (data) inspect(stuff) Currently it chokes on double quotes and treats the other escapes like Lua. First and last section of current chapter

Hi, how to display the first and last section name at the beginning of each chapter? I'm a little clueless which mechanism to use. A local table of contents displays all sections. Marks maybe? Although I have no idea how to achieve that with marks. Sure, I could manually reference the sections and use \about, but this is error prone especially for the last section/chapter. Wrong markings

Hi, in the following example the markings are wrong. \setupheadertexts [{\getmarking[section][both]}] [{\getmarking[section][first]\space\emdash\space \getmarking[section][last]}] \starttext \def\aa#1{\section{#1}\input knuth} \processcommacommand [A, B, C, D, E] \aa \stoptext I expect the markings on the left and right to be the same and show A–C on the first page and D–E on the second one. bar graphs, m-graph, sarith

When trying to make a bar graph with m-graph.mkiv and sarith, the command Ssub (string subtract) seems to Sadd instead. An mwe of a bar graph: (data1 is a separate file containing 01 02 02 03) \usemodule[m-graph] \startMPpage[instance=graph] input sarith; draw begingraph(5cm,5cm); gdata("data1", v, path p; augment.p(v1,0); augment.p(v1,v2) augment.p(v1 Sadd "0.4",v2); augment.p(v1 Sadd "0.4",0); gfill p--cycle withcolor .8white; gdraw p--cycle; ); endgraph; \stopMPpage ...which gives bars of width 0.4 starting at abscissa 1 and 2 as expected. To increase the width of the bars to 0.8 and have them centered over 1 and 2, I expect to Ssub from the first two augments: \usemodule[m-graph] \startMPpage[instance=graph] input sarith; draw begingraph(5cm,5cm); gdata("data1", v, path p; augment.p(v1 Ssub "0.4",0); augment.p(v1 Ssub "0.4",v2); augment.p(v1 Sadd "0.4",v2); augment.p(v1 Sadd "0.4",0); gfill p--cycle withcolor .8white; gdraw p--cycle; ); endgraph; \stopMPpage However, the Ssub adds instead and gives a line at 1.4 and 2.4. \widowpenalty=10000 and still a widow line

In my environment file, I have \clubpenalty=10000 \widowpenalty=10000 \setuptolerance[vertical,verystrict] \setuptolerance[horizontal,tolerant] and yet on occasion I still get widow lines.Does any one have suggestions about strategies to remedy this either in general or on a case by case basis? (I am not sure of how to generate an example of the problem or if that would even help.) Alan
