Hi, How can I enable tabular numerals please? I use \definefontfeature[default][default][expansion=quality,protrusion=quality] \setupalign[hz,hanging] \usetypescript[times] \setupbodyfont[times,11pt] \setuptolerance[verystrict] Is there a command or a macro to find all occurences in a file (or projekt), where some word is printed into the margin? (Maybe because of bad hyphenation or something else.) - Would be perfect for manual check-up and corrections! Thanks. Huseyin

About Chapter head definition and FunnyFrame

Dear all, I have two questions. 1. But it produces an error which is … ! Argument of \Myheader has an extra }. system > tex > error on line 94 in file SumRule.tex … What is wrong in this code? 2. I used "funnyFrame" defined in the MetaFun book. It works fine except that it is left aligned. I'd like to put such a frame in the middle. But \startalignment[middle] didn't work. Multi-page textbackground ignores topoffset

Hi, Is there any way to get a multi-page textbackground to respect topoffset on each page? From the second page onwards, it leaves no offset at the top. I don't think I can use background instead, as I'm nesting the textbackgound under itemize and also use itemize within it (correct me if this works okay?). A minimal example (note context live doesn't display the frame, which is sort of necessary to see the problem): \definetextbackground[Test][ location=paragraph, topoffset=1em, bottomoffset=1em, leftoffset=1em, rightoffset=1em, frame=on, framecolor=black] \starttext This is some text outside of a text background. \startTest \dorecurse{10}{\input tufte \par \input knuth \par} \stopTest This is more text outside of a text background. \stoptext Kip Warner started a thread about this several months ago, but it seems to have died before anyone offered a solution. Luajittex 0.72.0 announcement

Hi, there is a new project on supelec: Luajittex. Briefly, it's like luatex with Lua replaced by LuaJIT. See http://foundry.supelec.fr/gf/project/luajittex/ for the source code. Please note that LuaJIT is based on lua 5.1, while luatex is now based on lua 5.2 --- this means that binaries modules must be kept separate. The tag 0.72.0 means that luajittex is in sinc with the tag 0.72.0 of luatex; I'm working to keep in sinc with the last tag. I've compiled the source for Linux 64bit (Ubuntu 12.10) Linux 32bit (Opensuse 12.1) and crosscompiled for Mingw32bit and they seem to work but of course any feedback is appreciate. The new engine is available with context (mkiv) with --engine=luajittex -- luigi

\IncludePicture in SimpleSlides

Hello, I have tried the simpleslides module. Starting with it is very nice. I have get some trouble with \IncludePicture. Running : ConTeXt ver: 2012.12.28 20:30 MKIV fmt: 2012.12.29 int: english/english \IncludePicture [horizontal] [riviere] {La Dumbéa} do not work. Maybe that problem is new (process succeded a few time ago). If I use \externalfigure, no problems. Best regards, Roland

makeupwidth in externalfigure yields invalid escape sequence

Hi there, did I miss something or is there a problem with the use of "makeupwidth" in conection with the "externalfigure" command in the latest beta? The error I get (minimal example below) is: ! \savebuffer

Hi Hans, can you add a \savebuffer variant which works like the first version of the command where \savebuffer[<buffername>][<filename>] saved the buffer as <filename> and not as \jobname-<filename>.tmp like it currently does. Instead of a new command a key-val-version of \savebuffer would do the job as well, e.g. \savebuffer[list=<buffername>,file=<filename>,prefix=no] or something similar. Wolfgang
