formulas: numbering problem

Dear all, I've spotted a problem with the numbering of the formulas (default setting: (CHAPTER.FORMULANUMBER)): If a heading that does not come with a number is introduced, the chapter number vanishes from the reference number for the formula. I have provided a minimal example to illustrate the behaviour. Any ideas for a quick fix?! The problem is perhaps that its resolution is a bit low so that you are limited as far as its size of the picture is concerned. But 4x4 cm would give an acceptable result, I think. Footnotes in Linecorrection/ Placeongrid

Hi there, because I use gridsetting and mixed arabic and latin words together, I have to use \placeongrid{} or \startlinecorrection\stoplinecorrection to achieve gridsetting. Now this probelm arised: In these environments footnotes disappear, they are simply not printed, but the footnotenumber itself is printed. \setuplayout[grid=yes] \starttext \startlinecorrection This is a test-text.\footnote{This footnote disappears...Why?} \stoplinecorrection \stoptext How to correct that? Problem with \product

Hallo, I use: ConTeXt ver: 2012.11.23 17:35 MKIV fmt: 2012.11.25 int: english/english Problem: \product do not work: Main-file "a.tex": \startproject a \environment e 1 \product b 3 \stopproject Environment-file "e.tex" \startenvironment e \setupbodyfont[sans,12pt] \stopenvironment Sub-file "b" \startproduct b \project a 2 \stopproduct gives as a ressult: 1 3 The environment-file works fine, but the sub-file seems to be ignored. A problem with units

Hi all, being quite happy with things like \unit{10 km/h}, once I did \unit{45 min}, only to get "45 m" in the resulting file. disable expansion for one single component

Hi all, for a book I'm typesetting, I use adobe minion and have enabled protrusion=pure,expansion=quality in the typescript and then \setupalign[hanging,hz] in the main environment. Now it turns out that in one of the components/chapters of the book, this messes up the spacing of some characters. Is there a way to disable expansion (but not of course protrusion) for one single chapter? Thanks, and all best Thomas

\unit problem with powers of ten.

Hi all, I got some problems to express powers of ten in the \unit command. See the strange behaviour with these two minimal examples. \starttext \unit{10^2 meter}\\ \unit{10^{-12} second} \stoptext However, there is no problem with this one: \unit{1e-4 kilogram}. ConTeXt Standalone/Suite in Windows

Hi everybody, I would like to be able to use a ConTeXt Standalone on a computer with WinXP Pro and no internet connection and no administrative rights. Isn't it possible to install on a different computer (let's say c:\context) and then move that to the same directory on the other computer? I'm really interested in knowing whether this works, since I must first ask to a friend to be able to install ConTeXt on her computer to be able to use it on the computer I want. I'm on Linux myself. Well, that lead to an interesting experiment. I used convert to -resample a set of images to 300dpi and redid the compile. They are all now too bod, many off the right side of the page. Then did the same but set to 72. They are still too big. Odd, from too small to too big. I will try and be a bit more precise and craft a text doc to play with this and report the results.
