Hello, how can I change the green frame in \showframe[margin] on black? I need more contrast on the paper and there is no option to print all color in black with Adobe Reader on Kubuntu. Thanks in advance, Markus

Problem with \completecontent

The following works as expected: \starttext \completecontent \chapter{one} \chapter{two} \chapter{three} \chapter{four} \stoptext But when I use the following: \starttext \chapter{one} \completecontent \chapter{two} \chapter{three} \chapter{four} \stoptext Then the contents is empty. \date problem with \mainlanguage[fr] in mkiv

Hi Hans, With the latest beta (ConTeXt version 2011.04.13 09:23) on the minimals I noticed a small bug with the command \date in mkiv: when the mainlanguage is st to [fr], the command \date gives: 14spaceavrilspace2011 that is the word « avril » is replaced with « spaceavrilspace ». With [it] or [es], there is no such problem. In mkii everything is fine. Minimal example: \starttext Here there is no problem: today's date: \date \mainlanguage[fr] Here there is a problem: aujourd'hui: \date \stoptext Best regards: OK

Setting quotes for \from

With left- and rightquote you set the quotes used for \quote. Is there also a way to set the quotes used by \from? -- Cecil Westerhof

bug with \cite in latest beta (2011.04.13)

Hello all, there are some problems with the citecommand in the latest beta. I always get a LuaTeX error... Actually i was in the middle of narrowing down a bug where a \cite command in a caption produced a entry in the publication list of the caption text (and also made that sometimes interaction did not work with some references in the text), so i tried to update to the latest beta and now the document does not compile any more. LilyPond nowadays

Hi all, I've gotten back to tinkering with LilyPond, and wanted to ask if someone could send a small example of the new method of handling it, especially with some lilypond settings in the .ly file mentioned below. My initial trials make place the lilypond results on their own page. How would we get them placed in-line? Thanks, David RE: From the garden: The LilyPond module doesn't work any more with recent versions of ConTeXt. You can simply replace it with the Filter module like this: \def\readPDFfile#1{\externalfigure[#1]} \usemodule[filter] \defineexternalfilter[lilypond] [continue=yes, readcommand=\readPDFfile, directory=lilytemp/, % directory for LilyPond's files output={\externalfilterbasefile.pdf}, filtercommand={lilypond -dbackend=eps -dno-gs-load-fonts -dinclude-eps-fonts -ddelete-intermediate-files -o"lilytemp/\externalfilterbasefile" "\externalfilterinputfile"}] You can't use \setuplilypond any more, but there is a better replacement: Collect your LilyPond settings in a .ly file, put it in your lilytemp directory and include it from within your lilypond block like this: \startlilypond \include "mysettings.ly" ... \stoplilypond

Hello, several questions about tabulate. Let's have: --- \starttext \setuptabulate[header=repeat] \starttabulatehead \HL \NC T \NC U \NC\AR % [1] \SR? \NR?... \HL \stoptabulatehead \starttabulate[|c|c|] \NC a \NC b \NC\NR \NC A \NC B \NC\NR \stoptabulate \hairline \starttabulate[|c|c|] \NC a \NC b \NC\NR \NC A \NC B \NC\NR \stoptabulate \stoptext --- - Which kind of \?R to write to [1] to get pretty placed horizontal line? (There is a huge unwanted space above the second \HL.) - How to rewrite the code above to affects only a particular kind of "tabulate"? I'd like to have a special \definetabulate which would contain "header=repeat" specification as well as a special "tabulehead" (my code affects all following \tabulates). How to rewrite it better? setupindenting[no] does not reset indentation for items

I have the following code: \starttext {\bf\em default} paragrap1 paragrap2 paragrap3 \startitemize \item paragrap1 paragrap2 paragrap3 \stopitemize \setupindenting[yes,medium] {\bf\em after setupindenting[yes,medium]} paragrap1 paragrap2 paragrap3 \startitemize \item paragrap1 paragrap2 paragrap3 \stopitemize \setupindenting[no] {\bf\em after setupindenting[no]} paragrap1 paragrap2 paragrap3 \startitemize \item paragrap1 paragrap2 paragrap3 \stopitemize \stoptext I would expect the default and setupindentation[no] to do the same. But it does not. By the last one normal text is not indented anymore, but the items still are. Is this a bug, or a feature? -- Cecil Westerhof
