bug with \setuplayout[setups=*strict]?

Hi there, I read a previous message on this list form Wolgang that \setuplayout[setups=*strict] is the ConTeXt way to avoid orphan and widow lines. I have tried that before checking that \widowpenalty=10000\clubpenalty=10000\raggedbottom doesn't change anything on my documents. The problem with the first code is that it breaks some pages in clearly wrong places (it breaks the page on the seventh line of a A4 page). I don't know how I could provide an example, since the document is a personal document that I cannot share with third parties. Is there no other way to avoid orphan and widow lines? ∫ is not displayed correctly compared to $\int$.

Dear ConTeXt folks, using ConTeXt ver: 2011.05.18 22:26 MKIV fmt: 2011.5.27 int: english/english the following example produces different integral signs. --- minimal example --- \starttext Using the NEO keyboard layout several math symbols can be inserted directly like $∫$ or $∩$. Number formatting in \unit

All, I have put together some suggestions to extend the number formatting capability in \unit, particularly for scientific and engineering purposes, including basic support for tolerances and uncertainties. Bibliography: Any styles including URL?

Dear ConTeXt folks, type setting my thesis with ConTeXt I still use BibTeX to manage my references. Since a lot of references are available online I want to include the URL if they are available. I read the ConTeXt publication module documentation [1] and as far as I can see, there are some predefined layouts included in ConTeXt but none of them seem to include the URL when passed. The Bibliography documentation [1] also mentions that setting this up is tedious. So I am hoping I can profit from someone else’s work and use it. Could someone share such a style please for a mathematical thesis in German? That would be much appreciated. Bibliography: How to get `\completepublications` to use different title?

Dear ConTeXt folks, reading the Wiki page [1] and the documentation [2] I could not find a way to change the default used `\chapter` [3] to `\subject` which I need, because the references have to be set without a number and my “highest” level is `\section` otherwise. Is there something similar to `\setupheadtext[en][pubs=References]` for other settings? Bibliography: Setting `alternative=` without `criterium=all` displays nothing (ConTeXt: 2011.11.25)

Dear ConTeXt folks, using ConTeXt ver: 2011.11.25 21:29 MKIV fmt: 2011.11.25 int: english/english and the following minimal example (attached too) \setupbibtex[database=sample, sort=author] \setuppublications[alternative=ada] % Show reference numbers in the generated list. \starttext As \cite[hh2010b] already indicated, bibtex is a \LaTeX-centric program. \CONTEXT\ \contextmark\ \contextversion \completepublications \stoptext the references are not displayed. Not specifying `alternative` or adding `criterium=all` (`cite` does not work either) displays the references again. Could someone please confirm this with a recent ConTeXt version? Thanks, Paul

Dear ConTeXt folks, I am trying to use the module bib, but I only get [[error 2]] displayed. \lastpage is not set when using arranging

Bug with caption

Hi, If I use \setupcaption[number=no] and include a float with no caption, then all subsequent floats do not have a caption! Here is an example (using 2011.11.29) \setupcaption[number=no] \startbuffer \startnotmode[bugfix] \startplacefigure[location=here] Figure with no caption \stopplacefigure \stopnotmode \startplacefigure[location=here, title={Test}] Still no caption! \stopplacefigure \stopbuffer \starttext %% The float is shown with a caption here \enablemode[bugfix] \getbuffer %% The second float does not have a caption now. \disablemode[bugfix] \getbuffer \stoptext Aditya
