Can not register the callback functions in MkIV

Hi, Now it seems that we have not allowed to register the callback functions since beta 2010.02.18. Magazine imposition.

A person has asked for a solution to this problem: print a dual magazine where the first half is a regular magazine, but the second half is a magazine with the pages upside down with respect to the first half. In other words the back cover is really the front cover of the second magazine. I assume that the page counts of each magazine are equal. Flowchart module--> height proportional to text

Hi, I use flowchart module for doing a simple chart (see attach files) but the text is over the node ("Fonts"). Is there anyway for doing node ocupies all text? And is there any way for align the itemize within to left? Thanks in advance, Xan, PS; I use MKII. Framed text with arrows

Hi, I'm a novice yet. I just want to put framed long texts (paragraphs) with arrows connecting these. I want to decorate these frames (background, beaty border, etc.). Like entity-relationship diagrams but more beauty and that I could put long text in each node. Is this possible? Do I must use metafun? Can you provide a simple example? Thanks a lot, Xan. Hello, I need to convert an exam written in ConTeXt to an ascii text file like the following: NewQuestion,MC, Title,Which is gem, QuestionText,Which one of the following is regarded as a gem? Points,1, Difficulty,1, Image,, Option,0,Feldspar,, Option,100,Ruby,, Option,0,Sodium chloride,, Option,0,Quartz,, Hint,,,, Feedback,,,, Before I go to the trouble of creating a parser to read the ConTeXt input and write the desired output I'm wondering if this can be done with ConTeXt itself. combiation trickery again now with attachement - sorry

Hi, in the attachment is an example file which describes best what i want do. The method with \offset and \clip to place the figures where i want is really brutal force i think. Especially fiddling around with dimension to get the "right fit“ is tedious. Is there a better solution to do such a start/stopcombination? Floatplacing is also influenced by the offset command but i compensated this with *hang - nevertheless all in all i think no good solution. Please help. best regards Bernhard

Hi people, I've tried to get into contact with Idris Hamid but got no reply so far. Can anybody tell what's the status of the CritTeXt packet? Is there already anything to play around with? Are there any alternatives for critical editing, would it be possible to get old Edmac running wit ConTeXt for example? Greetings, D.Stender

gnuplot in mkiv

Hi List, is a direct usage of gnuplot in ConTeXt MKIV possible or does one need to invoke ConTeXt with a special parameter to create a dvi/ps file and convert it to pdf? if so an option of generating the graph and converting it to be included would be nice in that function, so that a direct usage in ConTeXt MKIV would be possible... Hi list, does anybody know how I could start metapost itself standalone from the context-minimals? mpost is telling me there is no mpost.mem and no plain.mem file so it can not start... Thanks for any hint...
