MkIV grid ?

Hi, I have seen Hans' reply to Peter Rolf from Nov. 19th 2009 on "grid snapping (mkiv)". What has changed since then? Is there some more info somewhere? I am missing my MkII optimized section setting, like ... grid={page,3.5pt,fit,low} Steffen

Cut marks + alignment marks

Hello everybody, I am using the imposition feature of ConTeXt which is very nice. \setuplayout[marking=on] allows me to print cut marks, but this doesn't produce alignment marks. Is there an option to print, along cut marks, traditional alignement marks (hirondelles in French), i.e. cross hairs in a circle exactly positioned at the middle of each four paper sides. very strange error with \xypos and vim-typing

However, why there is only a half of interline space BELOW 1st paragraph, while 3st paragraph has full space ABOVE it? Hi, Sorry for my strive for perfection, but if I set new interline space in delimited text using 'before' key, the space BEFORE is affected by \setupinterlinespace, while the space AFTER does not. The result is a paragraph with visibly unbalanced surroundings. Is there a way to set the spaces equal without manual adjusting? combination trickery - help needed

Hi, in the attachment is an example file which describes best what i want do. The method with \offset and \clip to place the figures where i want is really brutal force i think. Especially fiddling around with dimension to get the "right fit“ is tedious. Is there a better solution to do such a start/stopcombination? Floatplacing is also influenced by the offset command but i compensated this with *hang - nevertheless all in all i think no good solution. Please help. best regards Bernhard

Formatting numbers in LuaTeX

Hi all! I played a little bit with LuaTeX in ConTeXt and two questions have arisen. \usemodule[calcmath] \starttext \def\calculate#1{\calcmath{#1=\ctxlua{tex.print(#1)}}} \calculate{1+2} \par \calculate{3/2-1}\par % the output should be 0,5 \calculate{3*2}\par % \calculate{sqrt(2)} \calculate{2*π} % 2*\pi \stoptext 1) Is it possible to have a comma as decimal separator? 2) If you look at the above definition, it works fine with +, –, /, but not with *. Is it possible to expand my macro that it will also work with a multiplication or even with the last two examples? Thank you in advance Andreas
