Horizontal bar vs emdash

Hi, I know I can input an emdash with: \emdash Is there an alternative when I want an horizontal bar? See this, where I found they can be different: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quotation_mark,_non-English_usage#Quotation_da… They have different unicode numbers, U+2014 and U+2015. (Is there something similar to \showcharacters? I read in tex/texmf-context/tex/context/base/enco-ini.mkiv it's in a todo list, but I thought it's worth asking.) Thanks, Maurício

Font sizes in item group

I am trying to find out it there is a way to set the font size for each level of an item group so that as you go down the item group, the font decreases a small amount. I assume there must be a way, but I haven't found anything looking around the manuals. Here is my current item group. \defineitemgroup[bullet][levels=3] \setupitemgroup[bullet][1][1] \setupitemgroup[bullet][2][2] \setupitemgroup[bullet][3][3] Thanks, Mike

Printen van code met een PDF overlay, makkelijk met ConTeXt?

Beste allemaal, ik wil broncode uitprinten met regelnummers op pagina's met een bepaalde overlay. Ik heb dus ascii text files als input (de code) een overlay in PDF en wil deze gecombineerd printen. Ik zat te denken: is een ConTeXt based workflow hier een mogelijke oplossing? De regelnummers e.d. kan ik eventueel met het pr programma genereren. Met vriendelijke groet, Gerben

Hello, I need to write some chemical strucutures in LaTeX and dont know, what is the best tools to do it. The structures are crown ether and cryptands. Yes, and I am unexperienced. 1) What would be the way to write a [18]crown-6 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crown_ether) structure formula with PPCHTEX? 2) Is there any kind of repository, where I can take common structures and/or adapt these to the required structures? Is there a way to configure \from[MyExternalDocument] or \useexternaldocument so that when the link to MyExternalDocument is selected in the PDF output file, Acrobat opens a new window? Alan

simple-slides: Last slide not formatted

I am having a problem with the last slide of my presentation using the simple-slide module. No matter what style I use, the last slide doesn't follow the style chosen and doesn't contain the specified title. In the example below, the title slide and slides 1 - 3 are correctly formatted, but slide 4 only displays the text "This is the forth slide" in black text on a white background. accented characters (UTF) in filename

Hello, It seems, that one cannot use accented characters in file-names. Example: "context état.tex" fails with: This is LuaTeX, Version beta-0.40.1-2009051420 (Web2C 7.5.7) \write18 enabled. ! Bug in treatment of spaces in mathmode mkiv

Sorry for reposting this message sent this morning: I thought it didn't go through… Hi Hans, I noticed that in math mode the spacement of some symbols are incorrect while using mkiv (they are correct in mkii). Here is an example %%%%% begin example \starttext Set $a := bc^{-1}$. \stoptext %%%%% end example In this example, there should be a space before and after ":=" as one may see it readily in mkii (and indeed in plain TeX…). LilyPond module 2009-06-05

Just released the latest version with some fixes: - pstopdf is only called if there's no pdf created (seems like LilyPond creates PDFs by itself even in EPS mode now) - before trying to move a file, the target gets deleted if it already exists - some more code cleanup Is someone in need of a MkII version? (I could make that, but only without the file system features.) BTW Mojca is planning for a general tempdir feature for all modules; probably the setup syntax will change a bit if it's ready.
