I need bold math italic and symbols

Hi, Can anyone show me how to write math contents in bold and italic fonts? {\bf } can only produce upright letters. In LaTeX, we can make use of the command \pmb for this purpose. Is there any shortcut like this in Context? Thanks. -- Zhaopeng XING Tinbergen Institute

I'am trying to convert a doc to ConTeXt, and I'm also trying to make it as close to the original as possible. How do the command below translate to ConTeXt? 1. \geometry{a4paper, textwidth=5.5in, textheight=8.5in, marginparsep=7pt, marginparwidth=.6in} 2. \scriptsize => \tfxx? 3. \LARGE and \Large 4. \Huge and \HUGE thanks

scratchdimen mess (alpha)

Hi all, can someone test the attached example with the (latest) alpha version of ConTeXt? Using mkiv I get no additional space in case of the \scratchdimen example. I tried it with two new installations (minimals) from the scratch and also used several luatex versions, but the error remains. Strange... Hi! I wanted to test pdf-forms with the latest minimals from contextgarden and ran into some interesting errors. Translate module and active chars

Hi Hans, you're experimental translate module for MkIV is very nice and makes it for german users very easy to avoid ligatures in certain words. What I don't like is to that I have to escape the bar in the replacement text, can't you take care of this in the \translateinput macro itself and save the text without expansion. \usemodule[translate] \translateinput[Auflage][Auf\string|*\string|lage] \starttext Auflage \enableinputtranslation Auflage \stoptext Thanks and regards, Wolfgang

footnote and linenumbering

Hello, I have problems with footnote in an area with \startlinenumbering -- \stoplinenumbering. No footnote will be generated. Is this an error? Or it is not possible to use footnote within linenumbering? I'm working with Context 2008.05.21 Thanks Thomas
